Whoo 1st One piece review now do SHF Demon Slayer Tanjiro next!.Surprised that this Luffy is a better figure than the raid on onigashima version which is my favorite look for luffy and glad the knees can bend better the onigashima version for some reason the flap there's can't move oddly, honestly never got into one piece anime due to 1000th episodes it has but I remember I loved Zoro so hope to see you review him soon!

Haha! Don’t tempt me LG! I’ve heard good stuff about that Tanjiro! And not so good stuff about that raid on Onigashira luffy too. Yeah, this is a great base luffy! Really enjoy it actually! I probably won’t back track on the stuff that’s already out but going forward yes!

@@eightysixedreviews I Got tempted after watching Animated Heroes review on Tanjiro Hahahaha 😂. Probably I'll just get this Luffy and the Raid on Onigashima then the upcoming Zoro and lastly the gum gum effect accessories for luffy that's about to be released and I'm done.

Got him yesterday and it’s a fantastic figure. The face sculpts are great and the hands are compatible with the Onigashima version, upgrading that one in the process. If this is what we can expect in the future I can’t wait for Nami, Zoro and the rest.

I had the original and the fluffy part of the shorts didn't have a hinge. So its an improvement. What's weird it's that there was an imagination works Luffy which has the same mechanism, so i don't know why they didn't implemented that hinge in the first sh Luffy, given they already had the design

1:00. Quite literally exactly what happened to me. The original releases were terrible. Not worth any amount of money. Then this guy came out. Welp. Twins. At least the Pre Timeskip(don’t even like it more than post) figures are good.

The hinge on the shorts fluff was an improvement from the Onegaishiama ver. The solid fluff on that ver restricted it from doing the gear 2nd pose. Reportedly the face plates are interchangeable with the Onegaishiama ver.

I'm also someone who don't watch One Piece but felt like I have to get a SHF Luffy because he's so iconic. And I got the Gear 5, and then this too because I need his base form as well. Glad to hear this figure poses well. Perhaps the thigh swivel should be implemented, otherwise he can't utilise that flap on the pants for something like a sitting cross legged pose.

Even if they reissue, they aren’t gonna change the joints. At best you get a color change. They’d have to fully update the figure with a new body. That’s not happening for years.
