Put some Nail Polish on the Ball of the Ball Joint. And in the Hole Of the White part of the leg and let it dry.

I bought a bootleg on accident (was half asleep) and I'm crying because I cant even touch it without the paint chipping off, the bangs seem superglued on so I cant change the faces and the holes for the extra hands are too small to connect to the doll. I'm also missing the stand parts. I should have just paid extra for the real thing.

That's terrible.😠😠😠 Those bastards have cheated you out for the Sailor Moon figuarts. For me, I always know what to get and find when it comes to official, & real deal items. I make sure that it's not a bootleg and that it always come with an official Toei holographic sticker, both a Tamashii Nations and Ban-Dai logo, a warning sign about small parts, a serial number code inside the box, and a distributor company that bring the Sailor Moon Figurarts. Always look up on these signs. If someone tries to sell you a bootleg, NEVER buy it. Trust me, I know.

Mine just came in the mail today. The stand was completely broken in pieces and it was really difficult getting her bangs off to change the face. Took a few minutes and i was scared i was gonna damage her. The top piece of tuxedo mask broke off and i had to super glue it. Mine are a fail to use with their stands so i superglued their feet to the stand piece and put them on display. I quite like the way they look standing up nicely as if they were bought like that. Great review tho, super helpful.

I purchased a sailor saturn sh figuart, thinking it was an official figure. My bootleg, or really the entire figure was terrible. I made a review on it, if you want to watch it. The leg fell off on camera, too!

The official one will definitely run you at least $40 for sure and I (as a collector of the official versions) do get a bit annoyed paying that. They are nice to look at and display but posing them can be awkward and annoying at times. There are fans of this set of figures that really enjoy them but to me they just seem overpriced for being so fragile and/ or stiff. One of the latest ones I purchased, was Super Sailor Moon and I was kind of annoyed you couldn't move her long bow at all. Some articulation in it would have definitely helped. It really limited her poses by not having it.

Yeah, the skirt really limits her poses too, even if I could get her leg to stay on! I think I will save up for the Original Animated Color Edition though; I love the boldness of the paint job on that one. Hopefully the price won't go up by too much...

Great review , I'm just I little scared for receiving my sailor moon figure , I looked through Amazon for the official figure , and saw this one with 4 stars which is not bad , it had a discount , however many people were telling they often get bootlegs , but is it possible for me to get the bootleg version even though the item was actually from Bandai ?

Well if you find a legitimate one, you shouldn't have any problems with legs falling off. Most of your local "anime stores" are selling bootlegs, though, so you have to watch out. Barnes and Noble had the real deal the last few times I was there.

That's NOT good. You should be careful of what you buy when it comes to SM Figuarts. Next time, look up and know that you're getting the real stuff.

The only places where to buy official Sailor Moon merchandise, such the S.H. Figuarts, Petit Chara, and Proplica are Hastings, J-List, and Hot Topic. But NEVER, EVER buy SM merchadise online from some random websites because they might turn out to be bootleg.

The store has just put out some of the 20th anniversary merch. I also bought a lot of the Sailor Moon Ochatomo blind boxes, probably series 2.

Omg I remember buying this one when I was younger! I waited for A MONTH! But when It came in the mail, I opened it very carefully and guess what........... SHE CAME WITH HER LEG BROKEN OFF! I tried to put it back on but it wouldn't fix! Also, I moved her arm ever so slightly and it broke off and I was never able to fix it! She was also so small!!!!! You won't believe how much I cried 😂 also, her paint job was TERRIBLE!! I could have done better at painting it! So I returned it and got my money back!

....I have a sailor venus figure and when I reserved her she looked fine she looked normal....but ...her box was so damaged.....and when I opened her she came flying out in peices..my mom made a photo and sent it to ebay...I fixed her...but she still falls apart easy she has odly and miscolured spots...her leg head torso a d both arms fall off......I'm planning to do surgery and glue the parts while still letting her move.....but still.. THEY RIPPED OF A 9 YR OLD CHILD

I feel you. I have so much bootleg stuff from when I was a kid. I remember the day my BFF and I found a single bootleg VHS of the SuperS movie on display in a clothing store. We convinced her mom to buy it, and it was like legit treasure. I don't even know how old I was before I realized it was just a bootleg tape with a photocopied cover!

Bootlegs be bad, yet they can also be good. That said there can be a lot of fakes out there that you wouldn't even be able to tell that they're fake. A lot people get fooled I have to like some my own. But they're never going to be as great as the official merchandise. Websites like AliExpress and eBay are guaranteed to have bootlegs. Hell even Amazon has bootlegs. I understand people don't have very good income, or just aren't able to buy them. As I always said try to save up for what you want the most don't get sucked into the Realms of the bootlegs
