yeah he really looks awesome, remember the NECA Ryu figure? That figure was cool but they did not know how to make ball joint hips at the time

@@cheesuschrists I just recently got into the hobby so I wasnt aware of that NECA Ryu. I just saw a review and honestly it doesn’t look too bad for something that came out in 2010 but it’s definitely aged. I’m really happy for this revoltech ryu coming out during the time that I started collecting as I definitely do not want to miss out on it.

Have you thought about picking up the 10th anniversary Kabuto or Hibiki? They're pretty pricey and the molds are relatively dated, but that paintjob on Hibiki is really something else. If you happen to be able to drop by the NYC Tamashii Store or pick it up online, maybe consider it if it's something that's crossed your mind!

I personally picked up a Kabuto from Mercari ( after everything just paid $97 out of pocket) Hibiki I think is a pass.

@@chriswilliams3110 Good for you, man! While I can see why people say Kabuto shows its age, I think it's still really damn good looking, and the new wrists help a lot. I'm hoping this version doesn't suffer from fragile elbows like the original 🤞

​@velencourte Me personally, friend. I think he looks amazing. Better paint, and they fixed the wrist problems. Sometimes, not everything needs to be redone. If you can find one for a good deal I say go for it. He's $110 after shipping on P-Bandai if you're interested 💪

Who's the fish monster? (He called it a kaiju.) But, what character, IP, figure line, and company, exactly? It would make a great Zoanoid for Guyver! We don't really get much Guyver in general, let alone the different monsters he fights.

@@DAmazing Still in stock at retailers, somewhere? Or, a long past product? Also, any other suggestions for good zoanoid stand ins? Max Factory figma seems to be the only one with Guyver license rights. And they rarely make Guyver figures. 10 years between Guyver 1 releases. And only 5 total Guyver figma releases in those 10 years. They never delve deep into any franchise they do. So, there may not be any official zoanoids coming from figma. It would be cool if another company could make official zoanoids straight from the manga at the budget friendly price. $25-$30 range. (They'll probably be kinda big. So, maybe more like $30-$40.)
