Huge kingdom hearts fan and I love that sora got in. Literal dream come true. Kinda sad that figuarts didn't make more before bring arts started but bring arts is really nice and is getting pretty big in character selection but it's a different scale.

I definitely wouldn't consider helping people locate figures as being an unfair advantage, it's simply helping people with their collection. What's wrong with that? I know Big Bad Toy Store has this Sora for $60 when they get restocks, that is IF they ever restock.

I have S.H. KH2 Sora, Donald, Goofy and Mickey. I really love these figures. The paint work is immaculate. It just feels high quality when you hold it in your hand. I’ve got a few bring arts figures and play arts and there’s always some small defect of some sort which is sooo annoying! Some defects have been so obvious that I’ve had to send them back. The Play Arts Kai line is better than Bring Arts for paint work and articulation in my opinion but they are quite large

The S.H. Sora is ok but if you want articulation for a Sora the Bring Arts ones are where it’s at. And the scale isn’t to far off. Would recommend Bring arts Sora. Great review as always!

I have this Sora, Donald and Goofy SHF figures as my main display for my Kingdom hearts Collection. The Bring Arts KH figures also fit pretty well with the SHF. I think the Bring Arts Sora figure from KH 3 is the superior Sora figure to get.

I wondered why I never got Sora's figuarts...it was the articulation that broke it for me. Looks nice, but needs to do more than that for me.

This review almost makes me miss my Sora, but then a cold pain shoots up my spine when I recall how atrocious that neck joint was. Mine was so bad it broke fresh out of the box. Certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone interested in buying it at its current price.

The sleeves do "pop off" to afford a little more range, but yeah he's a great looking figure with some limitations for sure.

@@AnthonysCustoms if you lift up the sleeve it will pop off the ball joint its on and you can lower it so he can raise his arm higher. Its still limited but it afford a little more range.

Bring Arts Sora 2.0 looks fine but based of Kingdom Hearts 3 design and does not have the Kingdom Key (SHF one fits fine). I do have the first release, does have some QC issue overtime ie the wrist joint broke on mine since I pose him alot. It does have rage in motion.

The all white sh figuarts sora is actually not the same as the one in smash believe it or not. Sh figuarts is based off of kh2 final form but smash is based off kh3 ultimate form. As for your question Sora was the only character I asked for so him getting in was amazing to me I shed a manly tear. Anyway I kinda wanted this figure as kh2 is still my favorite design but the faces on this sora is mid and I feel bring arts do better in that area as well as range of motion. But I think figuarts does better quality control.

Not a big fan of Sora in smash. He's not an interesting character and hes boring to play. Glad they went with his KH1 design, which is his least generic incarnation. JRPGs are heavily overrepresented in smash (6 of 12 DLCs), and its absolutely a Sakurai bias thing. Happy for those who wanted the character, just isn't my taste.

Yeah story can be cringe but putting that aside the combat really is the best thing about it I'd also say the bosses, and soundtrack are easily my favorite in video games also

I was very dissapointed with Sora being the final Smash Bros fighter. Aside from the fact that we have enough anime styled sword fighters and that Smash Ultimate was lacking some iconic gaming characters, Sora couldn't even live up to his full potential due to them having to remove refferences to non gaming characters which are important to representing to Kingdom Hearts. So now Sora is just some random anime boy whose moveset is swinging a metal object around which makes him feel like a total waste of a fighter. They might as well have just made him a Mii Costume by that point.
