Very cool review. The original Mechagodzilla is just an awesome character. I honestly hope they make King Caesar and 74 Godzilla for SH MonsterArts so we can complete the battle scene from the movie. And it would be great to see the 75 lineup afterwards. A poseable Titanosaurus would be really cool.

Thanks, because of this review I am SURE to pick this up (as soon as I actually get money), there are a few issues, but eh, I loved the original Monsterarts Shin, so the few problems on this don't bother me.

The problems I have with it is that I always feel on edge when moving it, the disks on the shoulders are the thing that make me on edge ive already lost a disk on the left arm (my left), and it was like that about 10 minutes after opening the package, second of all, while the stand that comes with it works, when I tried setting it up I bent it and now it has an ugly white spot on it. My second worst complaint about it is the hands, for my figure I got the extra hands were the exact same mold, no left or right hand. My final complaint is about the forearm cover, it easily twisted off after a day of owning it, it still fits fairly good but i'm on edge with that too, sorry for the entire essay tho XD

Awesome review For some time now I was thinking this figure looks awkward and I didnt know why but after having a good look at it and watching the movie i found out that the head is a tad too big and the neck is also too big in which it shouldve been skinnier and longer also the tail it to skinny and short but other than those problems it looks great and I hope they do a 1975 but correctly by fixing of course the issues with the rings but also the sculpt.

datto I was thinking of getting this but after seeing it and several reviews where they complain about the arm pieces I'll wait to see if a renewal version offers anything different. I ended up getting the S.H. Figuarts Jugglus Juggler instead.

I so want a King Caesar. Oddly he is my favorite. Mostly because he reminds me of my dogs. and @Adam o_o Caesar isn't a Cat. Caesar is the Westernization of Shisa. Those Guardian Dog statues found in some temples. He's basically a Giant Shi Tzu or Lhasa Apso. Which is absolutely GLORIOUS!

King Caesar is one of my favorite Kaiju....but he's kinda underrated and the sales may not be good if they sell one of those...since KC's popularity isn't as popular as the rest.

You know, an actual Fake Godzilla figure would be a great figure! They can even have a cool gimmick where you can take off pieces of the figure to reveal some of mechagodzilla under it, then put them back in (good spots would be on the shoulder, and a big removable piece on the chest) and the accessories would be his orange heat ray, opened and closed hands along with bloody hands to replicate the scene where he broke anguirus’s jaw, and the fire effect from the reveal scene

So this probably isn't that big a deal to most people, but it just really bugs me. Why the heck would they provide an accessory that doesn't work properly? Like why go out of their way to give us a beam affect but with a stand that can't line up properly with the figure? Because they know how tall their figure is. They have plenty of options for arms to use to hold their beam up. And they actively choose to give us a static pole that's too short and can't be adjusted at all. If you don't have other bases and arms to swap in to display the beam effect, then what exactly is the point of the beam effect?

Hey, Diego, I agree completely that they should've made Mechagodzilla look a little more weathered, and his accessories left a lot to be desired; they could've included that shield he made while spinning his head, some finger, toe, and knee missiles, the eye beams, the red chest beam, and, maybe, his robotic brain from Terror of Mechagodzilla. Gripes aside, another awesome review, sir. And keep up the good work.

The arm issue that I've seen a few bring up is what made me hold off on getting it. Hopefully they do a renewal version that improves on that issue, has a different paint and offers different accessories. Otherwise it's a nice looking figure.

This has great articulation, but if you get the chance, get the Chogokin releases of Mechagodzilla 74 or 75, the articulation is better in some ways and they look more like they did in the films.
