A pretty wonderful recreation of those particular scenes from the movie. My only jib is it could of used more frames for smoother animation. Outside of that, good stuff. Especially on the set and lighting work.

KICK ASS movie stop motion of Godzilla 1989!
@DividedPixels4043 жыл бұрын
The animation is there. It's perfect. However, the frames per second is set a little too slow. Bumping it up just slightly to retain the slow movement of Godzilla whilst also making it slightly less clunky would be a major upgrade. You have serious talent!

Here's a tip for section audience comments and this youtuber, wanna make breakable buildings?? Buy modelling clay, make the Clay thin and also thick enough for each square side of the four square building. Don't make the Clay square too thin like paper thin it's got to be thin but just thin enough to hold four square shapes of each side of the building! After you got all four side of the square shape side if one whole building let the Clay dry for a day or 2 and then cut one side of the building into small little pieces and then rebuild the cut pieces of that one building you've first made. After one building is cut and you've rebuild all the cut pieces into one wall of the one side of one square building do the same with the rest of the three pieces of square wall building and then rebuild the cut pieces of the three building wall and then reconnect gentlely the four building square walls together but very gently. Don't connect the four walls of the building together very hard or don't try to blend the wall together! Let the four wall hold together gently and then make a roof on top again thin but not too paper thin. And after that let the Clay dry for a day or two and the Clay should have cuts on each sides of the four walls square

Then after that you can paint the Clay gently with watercolor or acrylic I'd prefer watercolor cause is softer on Clay and use mostly only water and little of paint you can always add more paint but you cannot take more paint out if too thick of paint on the clay so the lighter the paint the easier the building will break when you figure breaks that one building you've made! After that building is do painted wait for another day so the paint dry or 2 days and after the paint dry the Clay with paint is good for breaking so go for it but I would break the building again gently and softly cause the building can be restored but it's in piece after but if you add paint the Clay won't be as soft or restored as easy compare to if you paint the clay! If you paint the clay and you've try to restore the four walls it won't be that easy and the paint will crack unless if you've repaint the same building again the second time so my advice is to buy white clay or color clay instead if painting the clay so it's easier to restore the clay if you've break the building and you want to restore the building the second time but I would advice you to make a small building perfect for 5 inch figures also when cutting the clay for the four square walls cut one wall with four cuts side to side or cut the one wall in four small cross shape and then do the same with each square wall. Then just do that for as many building as you want so try that out and you'll be surprised how effective and realistic it look besides using paper building all the time! You can also add window like adding pieces of plastic to the clay wall as well but cut the window into small shape so it fits the clay wall don't cut a big plastic wall cut into small pieces and just put the plastic on the inside of the four sides of the wall and make sure to cut the clay wall with little window shape carefully so the plastic window can have a see threw effect so yea pretty neat give it a try
