@@manuh.g409 For me she is a God's gift. She is the one who continuously insisted the Govt. of Karnataka to institute an award for the best play back singers. Karnataka Govt. yielded to her good intension. In spite of singing more number of songs in Kannada, she could not get a state award for her singing. Atlast the state gave it's prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava award to her. She is a versatile, legendary singer. Her toughest song in her whole career is from Kannada ie. Shiva Shiva ennada naalige eke from the film HEMAVATHI. She took it as a challenge and rendered that very successfully. She is a singing WIZARD.

My God how may language does she know to speak? Her mother tongue is Telugu but she not only knows Telugu, tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, HIndi and English. Singing is one thing. Even if you do not know the language. Generally the trick is write it down in your own language and master the pronuciation. But talking in so many languages so fluently is just brilliant.
