The rear roadwheels could be mechanically connected to the transmission via chains and the front roadwheels could be turned by the steering wheel much like the front wheels of a car or truck. The tracks could be installed or removed as needed in 30 minutes.

Fun fact: the BT-42 was actually really bad, in part because the HEAT shells the Germans gave the Finns were designed for a totally different muzzle velocity than the gun mounted on the BT-42. The contact fuse would not arm, causing instances like the one where a BT (I am dead serious here) hit a T-34 EIGHTEEN TIMES with ass-all effect. It was also severely underarmored and was replaced by German-supplied STuG IIIs, Panzer IVs, and even T-34s captured on the _Ostfront_ as soon as was possible. But it's great in GuP because anime.

@@thespectre5403 Since you're a low tier, what I suggest is to enjoy the game as it is as of now! Have fun as lower tiers aren't usually that serious, especially when you're playing in Arcade Battles. But as you progress, you will realize that you would be stuck with Shermans until you reach mid tier (6.0 and beyond) But once you get the Jumbo or any type of Shermans you are playing in that tier, you will realize how good your frontal armor is! You will be extremely annoying to deal with, especially if you know what you're doing! I'm a former German main who is now playing in USSR, and let me tell you, they hate you! Have fun!
