The Graduate Admission Test (GAT) is a general aptitude test designed to assess verbal,
quantitative, and analytical reasoning abilities as predictors of success in graduate studies. GAT
results help to screen and identify candidate that are eligible to apply for admission to a graduate
program in any public and private university in the country. The test is divided into three
sections, each targeting a specific aspect of reasoning. The first section is dedicated to verbal
reasoning. It assesses candidates’ ability to understand and analyze written passages,
comprehend complex ideas, draw inferences, and evaluate arguments. The second section
focuses on quantitative reasoning, which measures the test takers’ proficiency in understanding
and interpreting numerical data, solving mathematical problems, and applying quantitative
concepts. The third section focuses on analytical reasoning. It gauges the candidates’ capacity to
analyze and evaluate logical relationships, recognize patterns, and draw conclusions based on
given information.

ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ያዘጋጀው ጊዚያዊ የድኅረ ምረቃ ትምህርት የመግቢያ ፈተና መርሐግብር፥ ሀገር አቀፍ ፈተናው ነሐሴ 23 እና 24 /2016 ዓ.ም እንደሚሰጥ ያሳያል። ዘንድሮ ለድኅረ ምረቃ ፕሮግራሞች መግቢያ ስድስት የተለያዩ የፈተና ዓይነቶች እንደሚሰጥ ተሰምቷል። ፈተናው በሁለት ክፍሎች ተደራጅቶ የሚዘጋጅ ሲሆን፤ የመጀመሪያው ክፍል የጠቅላላ ዕውቀትን የሚለኩና ሁሉም ተፈታኞች የሚወስዱት ሲሆን፤ ሁለተኛው ክፍል ደግሞ የሙያ ዘርፍን ታሳቢ በማድረግ በስድስት መስኮች የሚዘጋጅ ይሆናል። User name እና Password በቀጣይ ቀናቶች የሚሰጥ ይሆናል። ጠቅላላ ዕውቀትን የሚለኩ ጥያቄዎች 70% የሚሸፍኑና የሙያ መስክ ታሳቢ ያደረጉ ጥያቄዎች 30% የሚይዙ መሆናቸውን ቲክቫህ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ያገኘው መረጃ ያሳያል።

#Update from MOE‼️‼️ የNGAT ፈተና መቼ ይሰጣል ? ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ፥ የድህረምረቃ ፕሮግራሞች የመግቢያ ፈተና (NGAT) ተጨማሪ የምዝገባ ጊዜ እና የፈተና ቀንን አሳውቋል። በ2017 የትምህርት ዘመን የድህረምረቃ ፕሮግራሞች ለመማር ፍላጎት ያላቸው እና በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች የመግቢያ ፈተና (NGAT) ምዝገባ ያመለጣቸው አመልካቾች እስከ ነሐሴ 26/2016 ዓ.ም ድረሰ በ ngat.ethernet.edu.et በኩል መመዝገብ ይችላሉ ብሏል። ለፈተናው የተመዘገቡ በየተመደቡበት የፈተና ማዕከላት እና የመፈተኛ ፕሮግራም መሰረት ከነሐሴ 30 እስከ ጳጉሜን 1 ቀን 2016 ዓ.ም ድረስ ፈተናው እንደሚሰጣቸው ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ገልጿል። ማሳሰቢያ ተፈታኞች በፈተና ወቅት የተሰጣቸውን User Name and Password፣ እና ማንነታቸውን የሚገልጽ መታዋቂያ ይዘው መቅረብ እንዳለባቸው ማሳሰቢያ ተላልፏል። #MoE መረጃውን ለጓደኞቻችሁ #Share አድርጉላቸው‼️ When will the NGAT be given? Ministry of Education has announced an additional registration period and exam date for NGAT. Applicants interested in attending graduate programs in the 2024/25 academic year and who missed NGAT registration for various reasons can now register until September 1, 2024 Applicants can sign up via ngat.ethernet.edu.et/registration Those who registered for the examination will sit for the exam on September 5 and September 6, 2024 at the exam centres they have selected. Note: During examination day, exam takers need to arrive at the exam centre with their ID card as well as their Username and passwords.
