Yes, I am from Maui. My family still lives there along with the rest of them on Oahu and the Big Island. :) And yeah, Hope Chapel is out in Kihei...I have buddies who are a part of the church. My family is located in Central Maui. :)

Well I know I'm late to the game but I woke up to listening to this song. Right away I knew it was special and I decided to start placing your music in its own folder, which is something new for me. I sensed your fear of the "haters" criticizing the job you've done with this song, pronunciation and all. Pay them no mind, I don't speak Spanish, but you sang beautifully and I applaud your courage as well as your talent. I immediately replayed it and marked it so I could find it easily again.
