Yet another great show. Solome is one of the best. Keep doing this show. However, it’d be good if she brings another guests from different background. These individuals are sharing their opinions and we, as a society, need professionals to dissect, analyze and discuss the issue.
It’s very interesting conversation . Good job . How about a woman live USA we work as a mother , as a wife , as a teacher , as nurse , as a garde , so much you guys please incloud all ethiopia woman . Thank for having this show

Falling in love is all about the brain chemicals. We only see this perfect person with no flaws. Staying in love needs compromise while keeping own identity. When there are unfulfilled dreams, that leads to resentment and eventually separation. In our culture, the guy has more advantage of going after career and goals. That is not the case for most women. She is obliged to choose one.

Overall, a good start. The panel is skewed in terms of mix. Was your objective to vent about marriage and the crime of MEN? If not, you should have women with pleasant experience in marriage and yes there are. I like the openness and perspectives of most of the stuff Betty said. This is a natural process people (not just women) go through. Solome - I think this is the episode where you've done well - may be because this issue is close to you. I think that we can agree, to an extent possible, marriages should last and your discussion should be more about forward looking. Value clarification as society on what marriage is, what we aspire as members of the society (women and men), where we want to go. Dr. Dawit - loved your perspectives. It's always good to have someone with a divergent view.

I totally agree with what Dr.Dawit said about educated independent women who have prominent roles in the workplace wanting marriages that are more natural. The traditional gender roles are actually derivatives of the universal law of gender energy I.e. the feminine vs the masculine. I want to exist I'm my feminine in my marriage. That duality is what draws us to the opposite sex in the first place. The feminine energy is a nurturing energy. It thrives on giving to loved ones. And submission is true power. Sometimes it's called, soft skill.

To selome Hey, Selome first of all i would like to say that your show can have a big impact regarding to give an awareness of different social and cultural problems that exist i our society. i think it is really an healthy and important habit to bring up different social and cultural activities and discuss about those positives and negatives consequences. I bliv that public media have a big power to influence the society and lead on right track. So i can say that is a good start really! I would like to say that one thing concern me always when i think about my country that is "etik" Specially our service etik. love to hear what other ppl think. We Ethiopian used to say that we are humble, positive or welcoming but it so har to say or to se that when we meat different service workers. Most of service sectors or service places have no a positive attitude, the costumer suffer to get just an "ok" service. Most of our service habits relied on temporary business opportunity never think about future customer relation or have no idea what costumer service means. I think this is a big and powerful issue for one successful society, schools och different universities must work on that, we should learn our kids about different etik and positive relationship on their early ages i think. Good etik mean not to afraid other but respekt other! we have to show respekt for everybody, everywhere and every time each other not only until we get buy and pay but also when we return or when we ask or not because we have good appearance but when we have have less appearance, not because for seniors but for joiners also.Thank u very much !
Thanks for this program. ...marriage life is promised by the name God. So must be one woman for one men . I can't accept other than this should be according bible guidance to follow much better. ..

ሰሎሜ I have been following this show. I can see a thing why do people expect what was not there at the beginning. So if you love a man that doesn't dare to help you at the beginning, love him to the end. Or put your condition at the beginning

Please Selome bring the people who have been in marriage for many years to discuss. We could learn something. We don’t to hear a lot of negativity
To stay married, you have to compromised and communicate openly.

Great show, and I have a comment. True love is not just an emotion but also accepting some one that the way who she or he is. Like Jesus, He loved us and He died for us even though we were sinners.

love based on emotion, Feeling , and sense, is temporary and will last soon when the conditions are changed, but love based on decision or choise won't last ever , instead it increases all the time! Fiker ende Abeba or atkelt new enkebkabe yefelegal behuletum wegen. Sewoch bewichawi memezegna becha yemijemerew fiker sayhon it is LUST!!! aymeslachehum?
wow Selomeye, it will never end. with the right fits found each other , it matures, grows evolve into a different but strong level of it self. Because Selomeye, the very source of Love is God himself. I am not making it spiritual. I am saying it is spiritual!!! with people meeting being themselves in the first place wont run out of Love because the very reason doesn't depend on the response. it is what you give, by the way. But talking about marriage itself, it is not a solo 'emotional' based union, yet it needs emotion crucially. So it has been wonderful if you have covered the very bases of marriage. I wish you will have another show on this matter, because this is the very institute a nation be built, Like those amazing shows you are recording on social matters, I believe this would be where we found the right solution for all the rest. Please make another show!!!! and this time I wish you present Ato Temesgen too, Love you!

Tidarema kelal chekuagne nw? Look in to the rural parts of Ethiopia or other nations. Why do you think there is less marriages in western cultures? Because divorce is expensive, because women have become more self aware and of course evolution of our society.
