He is speaking real truth here. I left bmx for 15 years, I was doing pretty good in life but I was always trying to fill a void. Did that with cars, drinking, and all kinds of things that were not good for my mind. Picked my bike back up 3 years ago after teaching my kids how to ride their bikes. My life turned around. Depression doesn't come visit me much anymore, and when it does I hop on my bike and go for a quick cruise. Fixes my shit up and I come back stronger and happier which in turn improves my family's lives. I will never quit again, unless I lose my arms or legs.

MAN, same thing for me. I left bmx for 6 years (maybe more) and expend most of those years on drugs and excess. Today it was the third time that I rode my bike and I feel alive again, it feels like I back to be me again. Also this can't be possible without my friends wich give me a BIG hand with used parts and support. What can I say? I'm happy again and I can't wait to ride again tomorrow all day.

Still got the cleanest hop whips in BMX. Been off the bike for a couple years myself. I was burnt out on bikes as being a bike mechanic I’m surrounded by them day in day out. Picked up a skateboard again which is something I’d not done since I was a kid. Only really in the last month I’ve started to go out in the woods on the mtb again, chasing that thrill of bombing down some downhill runs and it’s only now I’m thinking about pulling that old BMX out of the shed and going for a cruise. Back to what started my whole career in the bike industry. It’s battling with a BMX that got me through some hard times in life. The battle of learning a trick or trying to fix the bike when I broke it and couldn’t afford new parts taught me not to give up when something is hard. Just keep going and find a way.

Yo freal. This made me cry. This shit is real af and FH beyond the now. I'm disabled and have limited funds but, I promise, if anyone can and will help me get back onna bmx again, I'll go as crazy as possible. There is NO world or people like the ones who are involved in the bmx world and I'm more than proud to say I was a part of it for a time and can only hope to be able to continue to do so as well as, pass on the amazingness to my Lil ones and everyone that I can. PS the last set-up I had was a S&M next generation dirt bike from like '99-00.. and I rode that shit till it was stolen from me..and I wanna keep goin. If anyone can help me, please hit me up.. either way.. shoutout BMX shoutout S&M 🙌

@@BMXFU Hell yeah! As a pegless street rider his parts in Voices and the Tomorrow We Work bonus mixes have always inspired me. I'm happy to see he's still riding.

We need a hoder/fathead edit. Maybe even have them switch bikes since they ride similar setups. Please and thank you.

Not BMXing anymore but still go out wheelieing on my Big Ripper. It's still a good outlet when you're old and can't take the injury anymore.

Opportunities become unreal when you're a published bmx filmer, your credentials are mostly from that so I feel where he's coming from. But there's still a matter of people respecting the sport enough.
