Thank you very much for this recipe. It will be very tasty. I have a suggestion., regarding the coriander leaves. Whenever we put coriander leaves or anything from the market into dish or curry, it is better to boil after putting that ingredient into the curry, because anything from the market or shop will be having different types of germs. When we boil those germs will be destroyed. That is a precaution to protect us from diseases

Hi Sheela, thank you for your suggestion... I usually wash the coriander leaves and other store bought vegetables in soap water first and then rinse with fresh water several times before use, especially during this corona time.

I have travelled to many places across Kerala ..sambhar differes from place to place ..some places even add coconut... And even in home some like it loose and others like it thick... If you go to TN they make different sambhar like vendakai sambhar, avarakkai sambhar, mullangi ( radish ) sambhar..depends on what's dominant veggie in the sambhar ..in North India sambhar in hotels is totally another story ...so let's not belittle 🤗any place or the different ways in which it's cooked .it's just a choice of preference. ✌️☺️
