HK students did not learn enough vocabulary and idioms in school. They still have to continue to learn English after graduation. English is hard to learn because there are too many words in the vocabulary and the language is inconsistent, irregular and confusing. It would take a long time to learn it but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Don't give up on learning.
