私は67期卒業生で、トランペットを担当していました。当時から比べると部員数楽器の精度は、比較になりませんね。今は、横浜市に、在住していますが、あのころを思い出します。今でも当時の仲間との交流あります。頑張れ松商

If for no other reason than these kids rehearsed, worked and practiced for countless hours, they gave a great performance. As noted elsewhere the acoustics are horrible, it always appeared the DM was two beats off. Put them in a decent venue and watch from an elevated position and the entire presentation would improved 200% Love the uniforms, stylish and classy. Hiramatsu-sensei was certainly ahead of his time, slowly but surely bands are converting from a military to a show-dance performance style. His legacy will live on forever with groups like this.

Hi Paul! :) I agree with you fully. The venue have been bad for years for this kind of performances but they still use it year after year. Perhaps that´s the only big venue close by? I love the new redesigned uniforms, especially the DMs darker one that makes her stand out more. The gold trimmings is the icing on the cake. I have to say they look smarter than KT in this, but in the end, you can't beat Orange. 😉 Happy New Year my friend!

You're right! For Live Sound Reinforcement that venue is a total nightmare. A sound technician's house of horror. The cloths hanging from the ceiling are not primarily for decoration, they are an attempt at sound damping, just nowhere near what's needed. I believe KT played in this venue in 2010 - distortion and echoes galore. But despite the unfriendly sound conditions, they did very nicely.

松江商業高校は２,３年前に出雲商業の大久保先生が転任してからユニフォームのスカートをカッコ良くしてケープもついて、なんだかKT系親戚筋が増えていっているような・・と思ったら横山コーチも関係しているとか。吹コンやマーコン地区大会での成績も上げ潮にのっているとかで、生徒さんのモチベーションが上がるのって大事ですよね。COVID19が収束したら必ず「さくらパレード」で「ケープ御三家」が一堂に会して寺町通を練り歩いてくれると確信しています。

外国の方のコメントでも、「橘テイスト」を感じられるようだが、 調べてみると、ここも「橘」との関連がありそうですね。 黒と白を基調としたユニフォームは橘とも通ずる品の良さがあって良い。 演奏も実に素晴らしい。 マラゲーニャは早稲田摂陵のステージドリルも素晴らしいが、 松江独自のドリルが洗練されて小気味よく、何度も見入ってしまった。 橘、出雲商業と３校共演みたいな話があったようだが、このご時世で 実現していないようだが、是非とも早期に実現していただきたい。

I like bands that include movement and dance like this band and of course KT!. The bands that just stand or march like wooden toys are boring usually. That doesn't mean they don't work hard, it's the limitations of their programs!

66万人の島根県。吹奏楽に力を入れているみたいですね。人口が少ない島根県は、全国レベルの高校がいくつもある。 マーチングバンドに関して京都橘から入ってしまった私は「他の高校も橘のような飛び跳ねる楽しい演奏をしているだろう」と思っていました。現実はそうではなく、音に重きを置き昔ながらのマーチングをしている高校の方が多いみたいね。しかも女子部員が額を出している学校が多い。日本は額を出すのを嫌がる女性が多いのに、古い風習はぶち壊さないと吹奏楽部に入る子は少なくなると思う。 出雲商業にしても橘のユニフォームを参考にしている。いつか「パープルの悪魔」と呼ばれるようにもっと弾けて欲しい。 地方ですが、京都橘のような楽しい高校が増えたら、地方再生に繋がるんじゃないかな？

The reason Kyoto Tachibana is so good is first the they practice a ridiculous number of hours. The second reason is the KT program is seen at numerous events and on TV (and KZbin). This attracts highly talanted and motivated students who transfer to KT just so can be part of the best.

Aquí y en Tachibana hacen una cosa muy mal: poner tres o cuatro chicos que encajan muy mal entre tantas mujeres tan guapas, aparte de que se van a volver homosexuales si no lo son ya. Hagan un grupo masculino, aunque no tenga tanto colorido y belleza como éste. Por lo demás, perfecto. Chicas trabajadoras, disciplinadas, motivadas y muy bellas. No se puede pedir más, sigan así.

出雲商業も同じで　単なる橘高校のパクリバンドですね　オープニングから丸パクリだもんな　せめて全体の半分以上はオリジナルで演奏しないといつ迄経っても　橘のコピーって言われる様な気がする　とは言え橘のパフォーマンスは完成度が高いので別の形でオリジナルを作り上げるのは相当大変だと思うが　松江商業も演奏レベルはかなり高いので　何とかなると思う　橘だってゼロから相当長い年月をかけて作り上げたのだから　同じ高校生が出来ない事は無いと思う

Copy isn't the right word. They take inspiration from Kyoto Tachibana SHS (KT) and their own neighboring school Izumo Business HS who works with KT and have been adapting the KT-style some years now. The style is spreading and that is a compliment to KT who was the first school to move away from the militaristic kind of marching and playing. 👍😁
