Roll to 175. If .5 inflation the worse is a few more weeks of collecting premium. If .75 it will be longer.

Love your daily trade journals. Not sure if the premium you showed includes the debit to close the trade? In case the rescue mission was flown on margin I’d let it expire and take the increased buying power to next week. Or how do you handle trades on margin? Also next weeks Fed meeting brings uncertainty.

Nvda kissing 200 day and also nearing some resistance from August it looks like to me. I would run like a thief after the big move yesterday and free up the BP for some new puts next week. As the daily chart on NVDA is under-compression and with the easing of COVID restrictions in china I would roll to next week. The ease of restriction and the FOMC mostly going to stay the course with a 50pt raise this would mean easy money to me. IMO

Great to follow you guys on your daily trading in this crazy markets. Markus did a rescue on NVDA. Flying a rescue mission for a position strong under water makes absolute sense and is very consistent (disciplined) What about a smaller rescue operation, like, buying some few contracts which in case of assignment i could sell calls against for that (lower) cost base instead of the cost base of the overall trade? Would help to collect some premiun in the meantime waiting for the overall position. Makes it sense?

Not necessarily a bad idea...definitely something to consider. The one concern is that by buying calls, you might not give it enough time to work in your favor. By buying additional shares for a rescue it doesn't matter if the stock rallies in 1 week or 12 weeks. ;)
