It is, actually.For us ,the main reason to move was the weather, and it's far better in here. Nurses are better paid as well.

In Australia you will not get any benefits if you don’t have PR. If you have PR then you need to wait for specific amount of time to get benefits like childcare,paternity . we need to pay Medicare charge + levy based on our salary apart from tax. I think in UK childcare is free(weekly limit is there). But in my understanding Childcare is not completely free here in Australia . And they will also calculate benefits based on your family income.

In my research in Australia have better climate better houses compared to UK and 20% more salary than UK for nurses, Almost 8hr shifts other thank A&E ITU Crime rate are less I think less Drawbacks my opinion Mortgage interest rates are high compared to UK House prices are almost similar it’s vary depending on places Better universities and schools education better in Uk 🇬🇧 Public schools are better and standard Good connectivity ✈️ Better job opportunities for dependents If you become band 7 or higher post will get more salary than Australia Nature scene is beautiful in UK 🇬🇧 More benefits in NHS (sick leave ,child care, cares leave , maternity, paternity, NHS pension scheme) More options for flexible working , Please comment yours opinion,
