جزاك الله خيرا لكن ارجوا ان تهتم بالجانب الصوتي وخاصه اذا ابتعدت عن المصور ..هناك طرق حديثه للصوت ارجوا الاهتمام بها ..تستطيع ان تكون بعيدا عن التصوير والصوت يكون واضح ومثال ذلك الاخ الفارس حسان الجهني ..انت فارس ما شاء الله عليك ونستفيد منك لكن اهتم بالصوت وسلامة عمرك.

Beautiful horse but i believe if you tried a different bit with a little more give, it looks like you have him very responsive just by your body you shouldn't need such a harsh bit on hi me. That's just watching this video I don't know the horse & that can make a difference.

Thank you very much it's a normal Pelham bit with out a curb inside the mouth and it's completely covered with duck tape, it's more comfortable on his mouth than the snaffle bit especially on the sides of the mouth and I get the same results of control with any kind of bit including the halter alone so it's about the hands reactions not the bits

Hi Ahmad, I agree with Chonnie Edwards. A slightly thicker pony sized snaffle with a finger (slide your finger under the nose band all around it should easily fit ) loose drop nose band would work better. This bit is indeed a pelham and does have a curb and two long shanks for leverage, it's a harsh bit and the horse is not accepting your hand nor is it "on the bit" or accepting the bit. It shouldn't snatch with its mouth open and head up every time you use your hands. His mouth is very very unsettled, moving all the time even standing still, opening its mouth and trying to get away from the bit. I know you haven't tried another bit because unfortunately this is the most commonly used bit in your country, by default and hardly any of the horses are on the bit as a result, the horses are ridden with almost zero contact with the hands which is a pity as they get anxious never knowing what is expected from them. ~ "On the bit" and this is the same for any breed, be it an Arab a warmblood or a thoroughbred, simply means the horse closes its mouth quietly and holds the bit steadily and gently, in doing so it holds your hand softly by the rein connection. I can describe it like holding the hand of a young child, and leading them across a busy road. If you suddenly let it's hand go in the middle of the road it will be affraid, if you jerk it once and let go it wil still be afraid and if you tie its hand with some wire and jerk and let go it will be terrified. Same with the horse, it must be confident to accept your hand without pain or fear or resistance. This horse doesn't want to hold your hand because it's uncomfortable. A horses mouth is even more tender and sensitive than a babies hand too. That contact between the horses mouth and your hand must be reassuring, steady and constant so that the horse will notice and react to even the slightest change in your finger position. NO need for wide arm swinging or anything else. This way the horse will know what you want at all times and you can sit still and calmly. It should look like Allah above is steering the horse, as though there was no rider. Rider and horse one, no fighting, head still, mouth and jaw relaxed.

Thanks for the opinion and here's the fact it's a Pelham but there is no curb inside the mouth piece it's a straight shaft with no curb in the middle, it's not a common bit here but actually the complete opposite cause the snaffle bit is used more than any other bit around here, as for me and the horse I lead new horses with the rope on the halter and when I totally control him and he understands everything I want like stopping, moving back, tight turns and desensitizing and he becomes very light in responding to the hand I put the rope in the mouth and do the same thing until I get the same results in all the things I did with the rope on the halter then I start with the bit and it would be a snaffle bit not a Pelham but after I totally control him with the snaffle bit and he becomes as light as I want him to be I might start using the Pelham if the sides of his mouth are scratched from the bit and not as comfortable as I want them to be cause the Pelham puts the pressure on the jaw not the sides of the mouth and if he accepted the Pelham I keep riding him with it otherwise I'll get back to the snaffle, as for opening the mouth it's a natural response to the bit and he does it with the snaffle bit even more as for the horses who don't open their mouths they don't for two reasons one they have a tight noseband on the nose and that prevents the horse from opening his mouth which is more painful on the horse's mouth two he's ridden in a way of riding that depends on the legs and the body position more than the hands and in this case the pressure isn't on the mouth any more it's on the sides of the horse's belly with the sharp painful spurs and on the end of his back with the riders weight and the saddle edge and on the top of his neck because of the tight martingale which is much more painful and uncomfortable than the bit but it's not very visual cause the horse doesn't open his mouth or scream when he feels that kind of pain he just reacts to it with his body language, as for me it's very simple the results are the real proof if he's very light and you totally control him then the way of riding is correct if he fights your hands and his mouth is very heavy that means he's trained in a wrong way and isn't comfortable as for opening his mouth and moving his neck up that's completely fine with me cause it's closer to freedom and his nature than forcing him to bend his neck, and that horse gives me every thing I want with this bit, with the snaffle bit and even with the rope alone on his nose and you can find that in many videos inside the channel and what I said are facts that I saw with my own eyes in thirty years with horses and more than twenty years of almost daily experience with horses so it's a belief a fact not just an opinion that's why I never have discussions in horsemanship I just answer questions but I replied to you cause your opinion had some questions in it so I answered them Thanks for your opinion, follow your heart and have a nice day.

Hi Ahmad, كيفحالك؟ It does have a curb, the curb goes under his jaw, in this case. You mean its Pelham without a "port" or "curve" in the mouth. The port is that U shape in the middle . A straight slightly curved bar is going to be extremely uncomfortable for the horses tongue no wonder it is so uncomfortable in the mouth. But leverage from the long shanks is the worst. Yes a martingale would make it even worse for the horse. You cant fight pain with pain. Almost every horse I see ridden in your country on KZbin has a long shanked pelham like they use in America. Except they dont ride in the Western style, nor the English style, its kind of camel or donkey style. This horse is not accepting your hand or the bit. Its plain for anyone to see. Once a horse accepts the bit he doesn't open his mouth or yank his head in the air every time you give him instructions. He doesnt do this because he feels free, he does to escape pain. Because of pain. A nose band is not meant to be tight (see my instructions) its meant to softly hold the jaws so the horse doesn't get his tongue over the bit which is incredibly painful. The nose band is not meant to clamp the horses mouth shut. Once the horse is on the bit he doesn't try and open his mouth. He accepts the bit. A horse shouldn't bend his head beyond the vertical, no. Yourse does, as well as throw his head up in the air, he only does this when you pull on the reins. This also trying to escape your hand rather than accpet it softly. Every time you touch the horses mouth with contact on the reins the horse resists by opening his mouth in pain. This not correct, im afraid. Its the wrong kind of lightness. You have no real contact at all. He doesn't fight your hand because of the pain, that's not good. He shouldn't fight your hand because he trusts it, not because he is frightened of it. I have been shocked seeing on youtube what passes for horsemanship in your country. I think Im beginging to understand the problems. Inshallah no one should ever stop learning,! When they do they should rather give up for the horses sake and lie dwn in a hole in the ground. Because if they do they will just know the old ways and never improve. If I stopped learning I wouldn't even be able to make a telephone call today never mind ride a horse. Right? You and that horse could be the same once it accepts the bit.

It's not a curb it's a plastic or lather piece under his jaw cause the main piece is chain and I don't like it, as for videos you see of other people if you actually compare my results to their results than that's a disaster because my way is the complete opposite of their way and the results are the proof and that's why most of them really hate me with out even knowing me just because my way exposed their wrong bad riding styles so comparing my way to their way is the biggest insult I've ever gotten but it's okay am used to it ^_^ anyways you must know that the current Arabian riding is one of the if not the worst of all time but the real old Arabian style in the past was one of the if not the best of all time and that's what am trying to show in my way of riding, how can you compare someone who uses his legs to stay on the horses back bareback and isn't able to stop the horse easily and it's impossible for him to move him back and he doesn't have real control over the speed and directions to someone who totally controls the horse and stop him and move him back with his finger! !!! In their way the horse will pull them ten meters to fight another horse in my way I let him smell another stallion or mare and move him back with my finger with out any problem and it's the hand not the bit cause I get the same results with the snaffle and the halter while they don't get the same result even if they use the same bit, it's just that simple same horse same bit different riders different results which means that the rider is the reason not the bit so blame or complement the rider not the bit, as for the rest of what you said I already told you opinions are like noses and everybody has one and you are convinced in your opinion so I don't want to change it but am totally convinced it's wrong so there is no point to argue when it's impossible to agree on something it's just a waist of time for you me and everyone else And yes I always say that there is no limit for learning especially in horsemanship but you cannot learn from something you're totally against cause you're simply not convinced in their way at all Have a nice day and always remember that old Arabians are completely different than the current ones and I have nothing in common with the current ones when it comes to horsemanship Have a nice day and god bless.

Go bless you too, yes I know this, modern arabs are nothing like the old Arabs. Yes whatever the curb is made out of it is still a curb, and is unnecessary. We must never be so arrogant that we believe ours is the only way. It's not but the outcome should always be a happy horse not a painful or frightened or uncomfortable horse. That is always my starting point to try and help. Riding with one finger or not. Yes it would be lovely to see someone from the M E in international dressage on an Arab but that is not the end game the end game is a happy horse. I believe that little horse of yours has the potential to be something quite lovely to behold. We could make him happier Im convinced. You look like a young man to me who thinks ahead not backwards. Today however I see boys riding horses like they are riding motor bikes, no care for the horse at all, like its a machine. They want to drive 4x4's not ride horses.
