I think I am in the aesthetic phase, what I like about Kieerkegard its his aproach to anxiety which I think was revolutionary for its time and it promoted existensialism to other great philosophers, but the last stage is a form of asceticism that is not healthy, I agree that we must confront dread, suffering and pain and loneliness, that is gonna come either way you want it or not, but if there is something spiritual that can enhance my character like having a partner which he denied or having a good time with friends not endulging in the futility of those activities but enjoying the virtue aspect of it the sacrifice in mantaining a realtionship with a loved one, a friend or a job, lots of things require sacrifice.

hi i guess the final stage, the religious stage, can indeed seem like a form of asceticism, but it's more about a leap of faith-a deep commitment to something greater than oneself. This stage doesn’t necessarily negate the value of relationships or enjoyment but invites us to find deeper meaning within them.

Being who you are, warts and all, the best that you can possibly hope to achieve in your all too short life is to accept the limitations of yourself and your fellow human beings. In other words, to quote Voltaire, " We must cultivate our garden".

i think that Kierkegaard would likely agree that this cultivation isn’t just about accepting limitations, but about making deliberate choices that reflect our true selves, even in the face of life's brevity. It’s about finding meaning and purpose in the everyday, In the end, we must not only cultivate our garden but also cultivate our soul.

A consistent presumption of nearly all philosophers is that all individuals are intellectually capable of internalising the ratiocination required to process the philosophical tenets that lead to aspects like personal responsibility. IMO, this is so far from reality to the point where these philosophical ramblings and I use the word advisedly are barely applicable to the mass of people on whom they are imposed by the ruling elites by fashion or a means of social control. The ruling elites themselves are, by the same token, rarely restricted by the requirements they place on those beneath them. While most of the ruling elites are no better placed intellectually to process the rules emanating from philosophical beliefs, this also insulates them from the cognitive dissonance that seemingly drives an unusually high proportion of philosophers into states of mental incapacity.
