Totally agree with you! Only the manga readers can see Sasusaku was happening from the beginning. Deep in his heart Sasuke did have feelings for Sakura and Sakura , after being put in the same team she learnt new things about Sasuke and it grew from a crush to deep, genuine love. In the manga Sakura was very much more likeable. She didn't hit Naruto more than 5 times. The anime just ruined her character.
