that’s how i feel too… but 2025 is coming and time passes by fast, the members are focusing on their solo work and actually jhope and &team met, rm is on a show on his own with other people for the first time since like years, and jin did so too as he went on running man and did a show with chef baek. there’s lots of releases coming out, jungkook with dreamers, rm’s album indigo, jin’s astronaut… honestly there’s a lot of content than i thought? although hectic, i do have to be grateful in the end. i still remember why i love them. their music touched my soul and i could feel their sincerity. i could see with my own eyes the passion the put forth the stage, burning their last energy until they reached backstage where they finally showed their vulnerableness. when rm had leg pain and he still ran up the the stage, saying he would finish the last few songs. rm who replied calmly towards B-Free when he insulted them. Namjoon who said that regardless of whatever criticism he gets, he wants to show people that they’re a great team. when jimin cried backstage doubting himself, stressed over the small mistakes he made and stayed in the practice room all day: eating, sleeping, and dancing for hours. when jungkook almost fainted whilst being dizzy during Fire and almost fell down too but only showed that he was tired when he went back stage. jungkook, the naive maknae who was missing his family a lot everyday. hobi who almost left the group because of the hate he was getting, people calling him ugly and untalented while saying that he should be kicked out in a hashtag (the only reason why he stayed was because jk cried and he finally trusted them). hobi who clutched on to his debut while only his mother supported him, working many jobs just to make his dreams come true. hobi who sang MAMA in front of his mother who was in the crowds in honor of her. jin who always tried his best even when he didn’t have a background on dancing, singing or anything. the days where he would stay up later than anyone else to get better as he needed more effort to get to the same place. taehyung who cried when he revealed that his grandmother passed when they had their first win. he who always had his loved ones die, but in return for showing that vulnerability, he got called an attention seeker by antis. we who are young forever in their memories. typing this, many memories came to me. i didn’t realize i spent this much time on them until now, they are my forever artists for sure. sorry big rant

@@Armyblink_0127 Since you say "failed to get recognition for so many years" I thought of giving a bit of an example of idols that were worldwide and are definitely not from BTS or BP era (with one of the examples having a hit song before BTS or BP did). Big Bang was part of the 2nd generation and they were worldwide stars. They were considered legends at their time. PSY is 1st gen (though his hit song came with 2nd gen and it was broadcasted I would go as far as say mostly all around the world). And those are just 2 examples that spring to mind. Sure BTS and Blackpink made it big and are legendary among the 3rd generation, but what you say it can't be taken much as a fact since it is biased xD. Especially as you said, you relate to only 3rd gen, thus biased. All generations deserve recognition and respect, but as someone else pointed out in the comments, 1st and 2nd generations walked, so 3rd and 4th could run.

Well i can tell you, 3rd gen award shows were totally different in their own way. The hype & the collaboration was crazy. Boy & girl groups paired up & fans enjoyed it as well, It was crazy.. i was screaming in front of the TV watching their performances. Not like now.. The collabs were only for solo singers, boy & boy, girl & girl. So boring & textbook style.
