I got a chance to friend with nyonya, her whole family gave me different vibe and feel. So I checked their origin, it's started when Ming Dynasty Princes and her troop of hundreds marry to Sultan of Melacca. That time Melacca is one and only sea port which handle worldwide shipment. So in some way, baba nyonya is descendant of royalty between the china and Malay. Kebaya is origin from them. After WW2, some run away to other country, but most of them still residing in Melacca, Malaysia.
