Yes, Abdi is right. The main factor isn’t peace, but rather loyalty to America. This is why Prosperity made a peace agreement with TPLF, not the other way around. Peace with Eritrea would benefit both parties, but not those who caused and prolonged the suffering. Imagine if the rule of law was respected-whether we like it or not, both peoples could have had a different path in life.

They were also stealing food aid meant for the poor, further showcasing their corruption. TPLF oligarchs are the number one enemy of the Tigrayan people and are complicit in enabling genocide through their weak leadership. If true justice comes to Tigray, they will be investigated.
