Cohh if you still want more Stalker after finishing this I do recommend the GAMMA mod for the original game, it's right up your alley. It turns the game into a hardcore survival crafting experience which is utterly immersive. They are releasing a major new update on December 3rd!

there would be no point in putting rifling in a gun that uses buckshot. Rifling adds stability to a bullet by spinning it.
