For anybody out there, that’s gonna play it on the series. S. It runs just fine. I was playing it earlier. It’s a really good game. I don’t mind that it’s only 30 frames per second because it’s a smooth 30 frames per second. That’s the difference.

Put in just under 11 hours so far on the Series X using quality mode on a 4k tv. Game looks great and holds its 30fps target pretty well.

If you are on console at the moment and can't handle 30 FPS I would say don't play it, simples. The performance mode on Series X is currently poor but I don't have VRR so maybe it's better with that, not sure?

I got an X 2 days after the game came out and played it on the S on release, the game runs fine on the S but it looks bad, blurry trees, no motion sickness options, trouble rendering textures, if the S is all you know and the graphics don’t matter to you then you’ll still enjoy the game. If you want to explore games with good graphics I’ll just say if you playing this on the S and you switched the the X the next day the difference is massive, on performance mode the difference in performance is very clear and in quality the difference in graphics is huge, if you’ve been thinking of switching for a while but aren’t sure it’s worth it when you’ve already got an S, I’d say bite the bullet. Not everyone cares about graphics but the reason I switched is as games are progressing and being released they are performing and looking worse and worse on the S, you’ll be forced to eventually. Also, you don’t need a 4k tv to see this improvement either, obviously 4k is another level up but even 1080p looks much better than 1080p on the S.

It works pretty good on series x, I haven’t experienced no bugs on my playthrough so far. Only a bit in stick drift movement, but I slowed down the sensitivity. This game is massive, and fun. I’m hooked.

the graphics looks like they tried too hard to be next gen. i mean the trailer sold us because its perfectly running there. hands on game, different story, hard REALLY hard to get immersed on this one, because thats the series is about. how they could screw up this one? i mean I hate the openness feels empty besides the terrain is sooo annoying. i mean if it could run properly probably you should enjoy the walking around. But man i really don’t enjoy the grass on this game. walking sim, and stlaker 2 seriously, open world games are no fun if there’s no context in between. you’re better off selling the illusion of openness and make really good sectioned maps and hope for graphical performance, a good balance. they sacrificed completely immersion for no loading screens and following up the tendency to open worlds. I know they can fix this up, but we comply because we truly enjoy games and if they’re boring why keep buying them.

CD Project fixed Cyberpunk 2077 for 4 years. On release date, it had so many bugs and problems, so it was withdrawn from sale on consoles. At least STALKER 2 is just working in stable 30fps on Xbox Series S
