I waited out for the storm to pass, inside the Radio Trailer on the hill, just east of Pol Depot. When I finally emerged, there was some Loners outside, which was much better than a Bloodsucker. I returned to Zalissya, I only made 5,310 coupons on the meager Bandit loot. Definitely not as profitable as the weapons I was getting down south. I hung around Zalissya for the rest of the night. When daylight came, I left town heading south.
The weather was good, and I made progress south, until I got to the turn off going west to the Boiler House. Then the wind kicked up, the skies darkened, and I realized a storm was blowing in. I was out in the open with no shelter, and the nearest thing I could get to, was the Bus Stop. I was there briefly when a bolt of lightning struck the road in front of me. I needed better shelter. I ran to the next Bus Stop. Neither was good protection from the rain nor flying debris.
I knew there was an overturned trailer on the side of the road, right before the bridge. Before I could get there, my HUD turned red, and I knew I was spotted by a mutant. I ran in the opening and got my weapon ready. The heavy breathing and growling, I knew I was dealing with a Bloodsucker. I was trapped, in the middle of a storm, with the most dangerous mutant I had ever faced in the Lesser Zone. I was n't going anywhere until one of us was dead.
