It is true that his corpse can be found there, but he is still well alive in the cordon at the same time. That is because there was supposed to be a plot point where the space anomalies created copies of stalkers, but the idea was scrapped. The fact that you can find his corpse while he is still alive is most likely an oversight of the developpers who forgot to remove it.

About Operation Agroprom... I think it was a secret, rather friendly mutual deal, since Duty IS either former military, or still active, but as a ghost detachment, all declared MIA, unbound from official military bureaucracy. (HUGE help, believe me...) The base moving for Duty and the Military was also an absolute win-win for both. The army got a fortified foothold in the Zone, deeper than the Cordon, with a direct, relatively safe route to the Yantar bunker. Duty got a position that can be defended indefinitely with barely any effort (gates, narrow passageways, many rooftop positions and even a tall tower, with good coverage of the area), a better supply route with a trading post under their control, where they can recruit more dudes (that are also at least experienced enough to reach Rostok on their own).

Awesome video. The changes happened in the Zone between these games are somewhat subtle, and instead of an NPC telling the player about all these details, the player is left free to observe the environment in both games and fill the blanks themselves. And I'm sure that's one of the reasons why I love the STALKER series.

This is just typical problem of every prequel game. Everything looks entirely different than in its continuation, like when you compare CS's faction bases with how they look in SoC. There's no chance all that equipment from Neutral Base would just disappear (including truck and tractor wrecks) in one year, even if Stalker faction got disbanded back into loners with no common goal. The same goes for train depot in Garbage, Buildings in Dark Valley and many more. Hell, even metal fence around Sakharov's bunker got repaired so there was only one entrance, despite that they probably got no support from anyone all that time.

I think the error in the dates in the PDA regarding Agroprom , is most likely an error, and the dates should have been in April instead. Another theory is that the Devs did not anticipate that the player would reach Agroprom this fast. But 'i think that the dates were supposed to be in April, but was not corrected before release (or in the patches).

Yes, this is a remnant of a cut plot point that the developpers somehow left in the game. In an old version of Clear Sky, the big emission was supposed to have created "copies" of certain stalkers.

The bandits were getting pushed out eventually by the Loners and Duty. Borov was probably the smarter one and made a deal with Freedom to buy their Dark Valley base with the stolen money from all the robberies they committed. The equipment Freedom has, is much better on average in SoC. No more AKs and with experienced stalkers as their lowest rank and some higher ranks having new GP37s and exoskeletons. Freedom acquired a new base at Army Warehouses much deeper into the zone so they needed money to purchase more and better weaponry to defend it.

The science team of Sakharov is an official mission into the Zone, unlike stalkers who stay in the Zone illegally, so I'm pretty sure they regularly receive supplies from official sources. There is an helipad on the roof of the bunker, most likely the military makes an helicopter delivery now and then.

Here is a tip for recording nice shots in Clear Sky; 1. You can remove the HUD when you're in 'demo_record 1' and mash the backspace button a few times. 2. You can re-enable POV weapon model after clicking 'Show weapon' quick saving and reloading the current save. That way you don't get the HUD interface appearing and you could pretend you're in the POV of STALKER in-person. Keep up the good work!

Yes, it is possible. In reality, we don't know what happened to them. If we consider that emissions simply kill people, they probably just died. But it's S.T.A.L.K.E.R. after all, so the mystery remains.

Actually there was not Chekov's stash in Pripyat. The was second Freedom's leader, Mikluha, who survived in the center of the Zone until Strelok urned off the Scorge. And Freedom moved to the military basement and left the base at the Dark Valley (bandits didn't kick them out of there).

Renegades are a game mechanic faction more than anything else, bandits that the player can fight in the start of the game without the "actual" bandits being hostile later on. They have absolutely no lore weight

I think the theory of lebedev being part of c con is right because I have my theories of my own to support this, As we remember when we take down streloks psy protection the zone acts up and sends out of powerful emission taking everyone down like it got pissed or something, well I think the c con wanted to lure strelok for him to be part of the c con to stabilize the zone, we noticed that the zone had a lot of emissions lately during clear sky meaning, they needed someone to help stabilize the zone but lebedev though the zone was angry because someone got inside the center, no like he said, there were emissions before this meaning the event s of clear sky the zone was in it's critical mass. Soo in the battle of CNPP everyone got nocked out and strelok was drastically wounded in the process, mentally and physically and the c con saw him unfit to be part of it, but they noticed one person who had the same idea of stabilizing the zone and that was lebedev and plus the special treatment thing also adds up. And Soo after clear sky the zone was swept clean and stabilized in the process.

Charging handles, ejection ports and selector switches on the incorrect side are stuck wrong on SoC. CS also runs smoother (tested on three devices) even with mods correcting weapons. You could also argue there's more gameplay with CS and the inventory system was improved.

SoC, although being the oldest, can't run on my laptop even on lowest settings whereas CS and CoP run between 55-75 FPS on low/medium for me.
