তাঁতপল্লী খ্যাত সাতক্ষীরার কালীগঞ্জের নলতা এখন 'গজ-ব্যান্ডেজের গ্রাম'। তৈরি হচ্ছে সার্জিক্যাল গজ-ব্যান্ডেজ। চলে যাচ্ছে দেশের বিভিন্ন ক্লিনিক-হাসপাতালে। আর এ কাজে জড়িত তিন গ্রামের প্রায় দশ হাজার কারিগর। সরকারি পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা পেলে রপ্তানিরও সম্ভাবনা দেখছেন তাঁতীরা।
