Side note: i do this in my slivers. I run maskwood for the few non-slivers i run, but i also run a copy of arcane adaptation and can change the text of world tree to say play all slivers instead if i don’t have maskwood out. Also fun to use arcane adaptation on opponent’s tribal decks too when they play something specific to their tribes to screw up their effects. Your endless ranks of the dead now makes 2/2 goat tokens for each goat you control instead of zombies now. That krenko doubles the number of eldrazi you control.

So I run an expensive God tribal, and used to use Esika as the commander. I changed the commander to Jodah, the Unifier and it works so much better now.

Played this deck idea on Arena and it's so fun to activate World Tree, go and grab every God in your deck, give them all haste with Purphuros and give them all double power with God Eternal Rhonas.

Its a shame the most thematic wincon is a moderately expensive card. Purphoros would be the perfect closer here, just zapping everyone for their entire life total as soon as you resolve the world tree.

My version is no where near a budget deck cause it’s enchantments with all the Theros gods, when you crack the world tree all the gods are enough devotion for 20+ gods to etb with Purphoros it’s absolutely beautiful.

They do, but not that many - there were probably like 20 cards added since last year, that are worth considering for your deck and in you budget. You can just easily do it yourself.

I am a bit new to commander but how does this deck allow all the colored cards if the commander is mono green? Is it because the bridge back? And if that's the case, does the card count as both cards and able to play both or just one side?

Yes, since the other side is WUBRG(all colors), you can include all the colors in your deck. You can also choose which side you want to cast.

So my question to anyone who has played this is this: If you are in a game where you don’t get the world tree and instantly win “essentially” does this deck compete at all? Just kind of seems like either get lucky or insta win …… OR you are a limp noodle all game until you lose. Thoughts??

Personally, I preferred Child of Alara to be commander for a god deck. I call it 'The Spanking' on account that when everything else goes away, the gods are still there... and everything else is a land (thanks Ashaya...)

I have a sliver deck that runs this and maskwood nexus. I activate and go get all my slivers that grant all abilities including haste but also magda to make x treasures a najeela to make x warriors but also a reaper king to detroy x permanents but also a yuriko so i also get that many ninja triggers terror of the peaks to deal damage when they enter and calamity bearer to diuble all the damage, outcome=opponents super dead, probaly dead the next game you play too its such an ass whooping that it lingers 😂😂

Najeela also gives me infinite combats because the tokens she makes will have haste but also tap for any color so I just use them to activate her ability repeatedly

dwarven miner and dwarven blast miner would have their way vs all these nonbasic lands. i play them in most decks due to how common nonbasic lands are. i i do 33 percent mana ramp. 33 percent land destruction. and 33 percent finishers like wurmcoil engine or batterskull or steelbanehydra. i also love orcish settlers and mine layer sometimes its hard to decide which to pick. to keep ratios in tact i have to pick 1 over the other. i also use boseiju who endures and blast zone as lands to further destroy artifacts my opponent may have in play. so my lands assist in taking out enemy mana rocks or whatever.

@@TheJazzWasALie sometimes my finishers are cards like fireball or fanning the flames. i can also swap out the 2 dwarven creatures for side board. they make the main deck though due to how common nonbasic lands are.

I believe the reason as to why it's not legendary is because people found legendary lands to play bad in 4of formats where you draw multiple leaving them dead in hand
