That is not exactly accurate. They are singing in "ships". Excluding Umi (the leader of this song) half of the girls sings in character and the other half sings in "ikemen" style, the male counterpart. - Honoka (male) and Kotori (female) - There is even a joke during a Live when Kotori apologized to Umi for taking Honoka for herself. - Eli (male) and Nozomi (female) - No surprise here. - Rin (male) and Hanayo (female) - No surprise, either. - Nico (male) and Maki (female) - This is a weird one because Maki is usually depicted as the "dominant" in the ship. I guess it was decided that way because Soramaru has better low register.
