He definitely wasnt counting chunky out he was probably going samus to make it harder for chunky to adapt to the shiek because once a heavy adapts and starts to get the reads, especially on such a light character, its totally over

At least, even if he lost game 2, he would have a big advantage in game 3, because it would feel like the same one-sided situation of game 1 again.

saw a few definite kill confirms sharp could have done at that last stock, but i guess the pressure being in a reverse 3 stock situation may have gotten to sharp, and he opted to go for bairs for positioning instead of upair dragdown upsmashes on the platform, or tipper dtilts I don't really see him do that often and I think it's kill confirms he needs to maybe put into his gameplay (if he hasn't already) when at this certain % A wonderfully good showcase of the matchup by these two though, sharp knowing how to abuse dk's weaknesses and chunky being able to keep putting sheik in such stressful situations

Problem is the kill confirms work for about 5% on the ones your naming which is hard to find that area. That's why he was focusing on edge gaurding and needles bouncing fish off stage. Chunky is also scary with the amount of hitboxes he throws out so yeah

@@bruce4139 the kill confirms definitely would have worked, upair dragdown upsmash starts working at 80% with optimal frame advantage on most characters, so I'm certain drag down upsmash would have at LEAST put chunky in a horrible position to get upaired if he did happen to live (dk has not amazing landing options) and tipper dtilts are very hard to hit, and i think maybe the chance he did get it he misinput and got ftilt instead, but that also definitely would have killed if he got the optimal double jump, regardless of DI i can definitely understand him going for offstage, because dk has a weak offstage game, and also needles do a lot for sheik, so he was NOT wrong for taking that route at all, there were just some opportunities he took the safe route on it also looked like chunky was a bit bair happy and also downb happy whenever he tried to wall out/stuff their approach in neutral, so i also would've maybe looked for raw needles into bouncing fish/bair but i can understand the safety he wanted to go through

Agreed. A big missed opportunity was at 14:50, where the punish probably should have been a shorthop Uair dragdown into Usmash to catch the airdodge instead of the Bair that Sharp did. But considering online lag and last game nerves, it may have been hard to react to.

But she can ALWAYS do damage though. That's the one thing everyone kinda seems to forget, most of her combo starters are safe as fuck, work at a wide range of percents and have silly frame data. A character like that SHOULD struggle to kill on stage. And even then the best Shieks either just get dragdown confirms or offstage kills pretty easy.
