Definitely a “learn as you go” type situation for skaws. But as one of my casual charaters to play, I like seeing a toon link win or lose.

The fact that everyone just watches Peanut recover and no one seems to ever interfere is a huge reason he wins matches.

Beating peanut isn't a "just do x" scenario lol
@Curleyconcon Жыл бұрын
@Regular_Ben 100% fair, and even if people do go for it, Mac counter can stage spike, so its not like it's even safe, but man people really seem to just let him come back for free.

Little Mac is good edgeguarding as well, and sometimes people dont wanna risk losing advantage for Peanut to edge guard

Most People rarely go off stage if they don't absolutely have to. Everyone is scared
@Curleyconcon Жыл бұрын
@extonjonas6820 Ledge trapping is pretty much openly accepted to be better than edge guarding at this point anyway, but still, it's Mac. Breath on him off stage and he's dead. And the Links have decent off stage presence too, it just feels like missed opportunities. High risk high reward and all that.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Skaws made an edgeguard attempt damn near every possible time.

also exploited his recovery multiple times with ftilt at ledge
@kimoota-kun Жыл бұрын
They wanted him to go off stage. Which is fair, Toon link has an okay enough recovery with bomb in hand but unnecessary tbh
@SPEEDLittleMac Жыл бұрын
I feel like people should be less afraid to edgeguard Peanut. Not exploiting Mac's greatest weakness is how you get 3-0'd
@JRicardoTorres3752 Жыл бұрын
Peanut is able to come back even from simon, richter and ROB,
@SPEEDLittleMac Жыл бұрын
@JRicardoTorres3752 No doubt that Peanut is really good at mixing up his recoveries, but at the end of the day, it's still Little Mac, and I feel people often times give this character too much respect when he's offstage.

He really shouldve done more d tilt onto the plat form to get a up tilt up b. As a mac main its easy to see that this tink stayed in such a perfect position for d tilt
@panetoneninjacanal26929 ай бұрын
Tink 2 framing with ftilt was very nice but i think there was kind of a lack of jump and bombs, they are very non comital, a single one could mess mac up, and its not like peanut recivers fast enough to make it not possible Even if peanut didnt outright die from lack of recovery, bombs pop him up and make him be in range for most of tinks tools like his deadly fair and back air

Going off stage when you have stage control, a lead, and your opponent trying to get back is foolish. You’re now not only giving up stage control, but are placing yourself in the same predicament as your opponent. You’ll need to get back. Whether or not you go offstage, they’re in a precarious position regardless. Still, doesn’t mean there’s no place for it whatsoever. Hell, if you’ve got quite the lead, you can net yourself a cheeky stock at low percent, or maybe when desperate. Still, all else being equal, I think ledge trapping is better bang for your buck.
