Why why why? Why make a mast exactly 1 foot taller then the min requirement to pass through the Panama canal. The max height of the Panama canal is like 59.5 meters, this is like 60m. why oh why would you make that insane mistake. It means you must go down around the cape, insanity... for the difference, why? Perhaps it is even taller, that is the height of the mast not including the height of the boat underneath it, so it is more like 67m off the waterline, or something? Anyway, having a boat too tall for the Panama canal seems like a big mistake to me.... Otherwise the boat is an absolute marvel...

There is nothing exceptional about this yacht. Beyond the cheaper price. It's not especially wide, nor a great sailing boat. Perini Navi have been building boats like this for decades, and many with aluminum hulls. Where did you find mast height. Seems too tall for size of yacht, and resulting sailing performance. There are some Perini yachts 70 meters which have mast heights +220 ft. Which meets Suez canal max. Most of these yachts are Mediterranean oriented and through Suez to Pacific. They have deep draughts, not really suitable for cruising in Bahamas etc.

@@guenthermichaels5303 In the description here it stats the draft is only 12ft which is pretty shallow(Time in Video - 1:47+) and also at (Video Time 4:20+) the video states the height of the mast as well... which is 60 meters it says.. I admit this is only from the video, so it could be wrong. But seems to me and interesting choice for the height....

$50,000,000 is reasonable for this yacht. I wish You Tube, Google and record companys could afford it. 😔 What concerns me is she may not be fast enough. Can sailing yachts go any faster?
