I found the screws were very cheap. Then broke about a inch in with the head getting stuck. this happen to 3 of the main screws . the little black screw about 1 inch long are just crap. some are fine and other were flawed heads full of cheap metal and strip very easy. so be ridiculously careful.

Yes, it does need to be bigger than the opening, how much bigger is up to you
