Respect to Samantha for telling Joey and Grace where to shove their fake pity and sincerity. They knew how bad it looked with Samantha being dumped from the villa, and were just trying to save face. Neither of them gave a damn about Samantha's feelings, so why would Samantha give them the time of day.

one thing we can take away from this whole samantha and joey storyline, is that a woman's intuition is always right, like always trust your gut. If you feel intuitively that something is off, chances are it probably is. joey literally made her out to be insane for even doubting him. The way he made a big deal about her setting a boundary and sleeping on the daybeds, when looking back she was completley right for doing that because she could feel in her gut that he was going back to his ex. Or when he kept saying to her when grace walked in "nothings even happend why you acting like this"....and he constantly blaming her communication skills when he was the one not communicating properly

Ironically Joey Essex’s ex fiancé was called Sam Faiers and here he’s basically sent 2 Sam’s home. I think he’s the one with a grudge against Sam’s 😭

Thank god I found this podcast. I can’t bring myself to listen to The Morning After (ie official LI podcast) after they OPENED the most recent Aftersun episode repeatedly mocking Samantha … I was expecting at least a little sympathy after Grace walked in but they went on with their pre planned script about Samantha stalking Joey. It was fucking weird.

i cannot even describe how sad and angry that samantha has been dumped. This was woman literally had been lied to and gaslit by joey, he wasted her time for 2 weeks so she didn't even have a proper chance with anyone and humiliated her on national tv, he completley ruined her whole experience and now she's been staright away evicted from the show. All because Joey essex is a "celebrity" and is clearly a producers favourite, it's so obvious that they want the public to forget at how trashy joey has treated her hence why they evicted her so quickly. They know that if they want joey to win, the public needs to forget at how he treated samantha. Now that samantha has gone, they thinl the public will forget and they are 100% going to try and push joey and grace to win, joey will get what he always wanted which is that win and grace will get all her brand deals. Which massively irritates and angers me because why is samantha getting robbed of her experience at the expense of Joey essex's special treatment. This man has worked extensively for the ITV tv network for 14 years now, of course he has connections to itv producers hence why he's getting everything worked in his favour to win, i hope they never bring another celebrity in again as it just causes this inauthentic ripple affect in the show, and sadly people like samantha and hairdresser sam were at the expense (who actually deserved a fair shot on the show seen as they are ordinary people which is what love island is made for, the show wasn't meant for celebrities who have already had a fair chance/ time on tv). Like samantha had so much more to give, she very much gave main character energy, i genuinely could have seen her in the final.
