I don’t know when y’all started watching shameless but I’ve been in the fandom since 2012 and the first time Mickey left the show we were devastated and we were sure that we would never see him again. Also the way ian and Mickey parted with Mickey asking Ian to wait for him while he was in jail and ian basically dismissing him was heartbreaking. So for them to reach this point is absolutely incredible, I can’t believe we were ready to never see them together again and then they went straight to the old married couple status in the span of two seasons

I knew nothing of Gallavich or the fan base at this time but Mickey was so much the best character. Google told me that he would come back so I carried on watching.
