Centris don't really heatsoak like PD blowers, but even then, I would definitely remove that plate under your hood scoop to vent some of that hot air out. Always love the S197 content!

Look into a snow water/methanol kit to keep IAT’s down. I am having mine done this week at Brenspeed. They run a 50/50 mixture and you use to keep cooler air temps but also gain on the power and octane. Should gain 50-60 hp and 116 octane off of 93. The car doesn’t use a tune for it because it is just for cooling and you choose the boost level range for start and stop. You would be able to use the gauge to turn off the injection when in cooler temps.

I daily my car without the rain tray(temp reasons in MD just like you) and I will say I’ve had no issues in the rain. Driving wise your car aerodynamically is going to push water away from the vent not into it, but even sitting for a few hours in a tstorm (has happened twice) I’ve had no issues besides a slightly water spot engine bay haha. All I’m saying is it’s worth the trade off for sure

You definitely want a water methanol set up I run the AEM V3 WMI with a 1000cc nozzle on a 90 degree day my car IAT will get to 65 degrees! Definitely worth it 👍🏼 also added fuel so you will not pull as much timing

it's the vmp fuel system overheating, we spent about 60 hours working out multiple design issues, lmk if you need any help with it

Hmm thats interesting. I found my coolant needed to be burped cause it had an air pocket. Car is good now!

@@DerekBaranProductions that could certainly help as well, but these cars were tested in death valley up to 240 degree cyl head temps! approaching 220 while parked could be normal with your slim fan setup, lund can also change the parameters on how the fan kicks on. but if you are going lean at wot after the car has been running for a while, it is 99.9% a fueling issue! also make sure you stay above 1/2 tank
