In February 2021, I sold the house I had lived in for over 9 years. I got my 2005 Ford F250 Super Duty ready for this journey and purchased a slide in truck camper Sadly, while on the road, my truck failed so I had to get a different truck, but all is good and I’m hitting the trails! I now live full time in my camper with my three dogs. Prior to this lifestyle, I shared some of the hikes I did through day hiking and overnight backpacking. Occasionally, I shared a kayaking video here and there. Now that I am living full time on the road, I will be sharing the good, the bad, the ugly, and the pretty with you all, in hopes that it will encourage you to do what makes you happy. My goal is to be as real and informational as I can be. KZbin helped me overcome my various concerns, so I hope that these videos pay it forward and help others.

It was nice making a new friend. I wasn't supposed to go on that trail solo (grizzly country) but my friend couldn't make it, so I was thankful for the company.

Wow that rainbow!! #GodsPromise wonderful trip. Loved the waterfall campsite. I bet the rain was pretty welcomed as dry as it was when I was there. Did you see much debree from the microburst? Thanks for sharing this epic trip!

Amen! He sure does. That was a double rainbow but I didn't get my camera in time to fully capture it. It was so amazing. Yes on the hike out after Dad's Lake the climb out was downed trees. Thankfully there was an alternate trail that stayed in the meadow for a good portion of that microburst that paralleled the main trail. Trail crews did a really good job clearing the debris but I heard if you didn't take the alternate you were climbing over trees.

Thanks! I only played high school sports (volleyball and track mostly). I am a runner, but I do that solo. :) I am 5ft6in.
