This is the type of guy to run for president. No huge ego, well reasoned, not hateful when talking about his "enemies " more or less just disappointed that they would sell their integrity. Great speaker

I really enjoyed watching that interview. I have been involved in politics in the area for almost 40 years now and I am always learning new things about the history of the political icons in the community. I have met and had discussions with you many times Bertrum and have not always agreed with you, but I have always respected your integrity. Thank you for years of good honest work as a watchdog of our system. I miss the Vindy everyday. It was read by each member of our household. Best of luck to you in the future and God bless.

I think it's really great and interesting and fascinating to reminisce about the terrific influential stories-articles -and content from the past of this region. And absolutely a fabulous idea to formulate a book or two focused on various powerful works of yours. Thank you so very much for all you've provided for the citizens of this region. And I'm from hillsville (right next to lowellville ) and even though Hillsville is just over the PA border, we were regular readers and happy customers of yours. We had no cable and The other local publications were embarrassments when compared to the vindicators' quantity on a daily basis or if compared to the vindicators' quality and realness and grittiness of the special In-depth investigative reporting . Those reporters/writers and their deep sincere efforts are a part of history and also a part of our character and spirit individually and as a community. Thank you from Hillsville Jason

I'm a bit of a self taught amatuer Mahoning valley mafia historian, and I'm really enjoying this. This is fantastic. I like to see more, maybe even a podcast on the earlier years of the Youngstown mob.
