Everyone praises Cole Sprouse's performance as Sam, and rightfully so, but Daniel Webber's performance as Kyle has to be my favorite. He is just the right amount of awkward and funny for the character and his emotional lines hit hard. Coming as a reader of the original creepypasta I'm so nervous but excited to finish this series. I cant believe I didn't find it sooner.

Just had this thought, drugs are such a huge theme in this story, do you think thats by design by the sheriffs? Like people obviously lean into drugs to escape from the reality that they are complicit in one the biggest human trafficking rings in the country. So my thought is the sheriffs, overlook this to keep them numb and stupid, until the person gets in their way like Sam and Kyle.

TBH, it's more just disturbing than scary. There's nothing scary about it, just disturbing. It's also a reveal that's kind of shocking when you first read/listen to it, but when you actually think about all the clues, you realize how obvious it really was, so one of those in hindsight things. Although in all honesty, I do think that there is a bit of over hype to what it is. I mean, when you know what it is, it's certainly messed up and wrong, but I could think of a few twists here and there that would have been a thousand times worse. I think it's just that you expect one thing, and then get so lambasted with something else entirely, when if you paid attention, the real thing makes more sense than the head idea. Sorry for the long winded answer that sort of turned from me having made my point to sort of losing it

Great story but i feel as though people are very over dramatic about it. Its not scary in the slightest, its an interesting mystery. Cole sprose is really good in mystery stories. As for the people being so shocked and appalled by what happens, why? If they payed attention to the world around them they wouldn't be shocked by a fictional story. Far worse happens in the real world on a daily basis.
