I’ve been riding for 3 months now and I have a 2019 Z400. It still baffles me that there are motorcycles out there that can reach 100mph before even leaving first gear. I can’t wait to have one of those bikes, but I’ll wait until I have more experience first 😂

I feel like with this type of speed and riding style its best not to even have mirrors because you need to be 100% focused on whats ahead. One temptation to check the mirror could cause death. Better minimize all possible distractions.

I’m the complete opposite. I like being at the back because of the fact that new riders should always be at the front, aside from the guy leading. Typically the newer riders like to show off and do crazy stuff that could end up in a crash. Newer riders also don’t know their limits yet so if they’re at the back they might get left behind or get caught up in traffic and end up being lost. I prefer the back to limit my chances of getting caught up in a two bike or multiple bike crash.
