Enjoyed your Tassie adventure, but I am concerned about the amount of video filmed in National Parks. I was under the impression that you couldn’t drone in National Parks. Looking forward to your new adventures.

G'day, mate. You are correct to a certain degree. Every state is different. I have an RPL, which is a remote pilot licence. With this and filling in the correct forms for particular agencies, you can get permission. For instance, I have a 12 month 1 for the whole of NT. The only 2 spots I can not fly are Uluru and litchfield Park. I flew at kings canyon, and Valley of the Palms with the Rangers walking past. They asked. I showed them paperwork, and they said, "Well done." Tasmania was a bit different, and a couple of times were expensive, gaining permission. Just remember to abide by CASA rules and regulations. It is the cowboys that don't do the right thing. it gives us drone operators a bad name. Cheers for the support. I'm glad you enjoy the vids. 🍻
