Not sure on the exact weight but since it’s all aluminum, it’s pretty lightweight.

It looks freaking legit, especially for ppl like me that doesn't want a trailer
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
Yup, I refuse to get a trailer. Storage and parking is my issue with one.
@jerry-3816 жыл бұрын
When I don't trailer my kayak I have always carried it over my bed rails like the Outfitter does. It allows me to still use my bed space and close the tailgate. The Outfitter is well designed and built. I like it!

It’s making my setup time a lot easier now. And no more stacking kayaks!

what is amazing to me is how every "interest" creates a need and therefore a market and then jobs... its not GENERAL MOTORS but it is someone making a product and giving a living to employees and their families...you go BooneDOX.....nice shout out Mark!

Thanks for the info on the outfitter. There’s not much info out there on it . Ordered one last week and should be here in the next few days . Hopefully it’s going to make hauling 2 outback easier

I think you'll like it.
@jimbeauxjimenez18506 жыл бұрын
are you planning to get the Landing Gear, Mark? despite the high price it's a blessing! Not only is it great transportation-wise but also it gives my Outback extra inches off the ground when i'm loading/unloading it with the wheels down, which means I won't need to use that plastic loader to prevent my rudder of touching the ground.

I’ve always known about them but didn’t realize how lite they were. It’s super easy to set them up too!

Really like the outfitter! Didn’t even know that product existed. Landing gear is a must for my PA14. Maybe if I get another kayak for the Mrs. I will look further into the outfitter

Go to a pipe or A/C supply company and get some insulated pipe covers and put on them them tap them with tennis wrap. Probably a lot cheaper
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
It would be a lot cheaper. But I really like the rollers Boonedox has. They’re solid and heavy duty. Plus they’ll match the ones I already have.

I have the same setup and love it! I also have their trailer I use for close trips however for long trips and through major cities this is the way to go. I always carry a back up yak with me and have it cable locked just incase I need it. Someone in your comments said something about 100 pounds? I carry a loaded PA 14 on mine and never had a problem
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
I figured the weight rating was very conservative. The Outfitter is built solid!
@briarfox6373 жыл бұрын
I'm considering one of these. Do you still have and use it?
@johnpuckett8996 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark I like it if you see this please reply how much weight can it hold when I say that I mean should I put a Titan 13 foot kayak up there and weighs about 200 lb empty so you figure by the time you put gear Rod's tackle Etc you could be pushing 3 hundred I know that's I have it heavy yeah you put on top I wanted to know what's your thoughts
@MDLRFishing6 жыл бұрын
It’s rated for 100 lbs but I’ve already pushed its limit and carried a 2019 Outback fully loaded. My guess for the total weight is around 150 lbs. I personally wouldn’t try to carry more than 200 lbs.
@war_yakerz6 жыл бұрын
John Puckett check with the guys at ACK, when they rent out kayaks, they use T-Bones as loaners with the kayaks. They’ve probably pushed the limits for the benefit of the customer.
@joshrodriguez3136 жыл бұрын
Hey Mark have you heard about the new trout bag limit is it true I heard it from somebody

Yeah it’s true but I don’t think they’ve made a decision on it yet.

Cool idea but, at almost $700 and it only support 100 pounds...... Not for me. My empty 2019 Outback is 100 lbs alone, without my crate or any other gear. Def made for lighter or smaller Kayaks I guess. I do love my T-Bone thought. Good vid bro.
