I have the S21 Ultra since May this year. And what a beast it is! I had a Oppo Find X2 Pro before my S21 Ultra, and literally everything feels at least 2x better. From camera, to software, battery life, performance. Despite it being the Exynos variant, I don't notice it being any 'worse'.

Just ordered the S21 Ultra for $675. Coming from the OP7Pro that I bought 2+ years ago. At that point in time I wasn't comfortable buying a flagship, because there was just so much new tech and the top tier phones at that time just didn't feel refined enough for the money. Now I'm ready to make the jump though, because from what I've heard and seen the S21 Ultra is about as close to flawless as a phone can get, and any negatives it may have can be solved with software updates. I genuinely feel like this phone will be top tier for a long time. At this point, we've kind of reached the pinnacle for handheld devices. I believe a lot of the "upgrades" future phones will have will be gimmicky at best. The only legitimate thing I can see improving anytime soon is camera quality... And even that will just be technical upgrades that most people wouldn't even notice in a real world scenario. This phone has great battery life, plenty of processing power, great cameras, speed, enough storage, great display, a great OS, and 5g capability.. I mean seriously, what can be legitimately improved? At this point companies will have to invent something new to improve, because we've reached the pinnacle of handhelds. Some may say that's what foldables are, but I'm not sure I agree. Foldables are cool and all, but I don't think I'd ever own one, just too much to deal with, and more than what 90% of the population needs.

I just got mine the other day and the clear tech 21 case I got is the only issue. I've been having to put it face down on my night stand so it won't slide all over. Also I came from an iPhone xr so still getting used to the new and improved Android lol. My last galaxy was an s3 🤣

I didn’t buy one because of the lack of the memory card slot. But I tried it and found out that you can only use two of the main cameras in pro (a.k.a. manual) mode (it should be possible at least with the optical zoom). Also a friend of mine has one and says it gets pretty warm with his heavy use and that the S Pen isn’t as nice as in a Note. I really wish Samsung also created a S21 Note (a tier above the Ultra) with a slot for a proper Note S Pen.

I have had this phone for about the same amount of time as you and I have been loving it. It is a bit bulky for one handed use , but I bought a super grippy case from dbrand and have had no problems. I originally bought the s-pen case, but after a month or so I quit using it cuz it really just kinda felt like a novelty to me and I never really use it

Watching this on my S21 ultra and loving it. Loving how snappy it is. How I can run 120hz while display is at its max. Great battery life to last me through the day if I'm constantly on it or just some light use. Using Dex to my monitor if I want to get some work done. Being able to watch some KZbin and be able to scroll through social media or text friends and family. It's all just there loved every second of it. By the way I love my iPhones too (own an 11 pro max for my second line) but this phone gets more use. I don't care what the reports say, this device is a knock out of the park for me

I still believe the Xiaomi MI 11 Ultra is the best Android phone out today. The Samsung S21 Ultra still edges out on the camera, but, the MI 11 Ultra is on beast mode Really fast charging, 67watt. Charger included. 120mhz refresh rate. More options in the camera menu. Higher ppi display.. And cheaper than the S21 Ultra. IR blaster remote feature. Something Samsung used to offer. Better speakers than the S21 Ultra. Samsung Really needs sto step up their game.

@@SCHYPHHH 100%. Out of the last 11 years I've had a smartphone, 9 years were Android and 2 years Apple. The iPhone wins in almost every way. iOS is faster, more fluid, I rarely ever have applications crash. The ecosystem is the best, iMessage is so much more reliable and faster over sms, you get software updates immediately and your iPhone is supported for 5 years minimum. And the hardware and software being both made by Apple makes the phone overall so much more optimized than Android. The extra customization and features Android offers are meaningless compared to better speeds, optimization, amazing ecosystem etc. I'll never be going back to Android. Already got my airtags and Apple Watch series 6 too.

Depends what you use it for. For day to day you'll notice no difference, for games etc you will notice a slow down in longer sessions

Anyone know what might be wrong? My auto brightness doesn't work, my fast charging option doesn't do anything but the super fast charging does. For a 1400$ phone the software is horrible. I just switched to andriod for the first time ever and this is my first andriod but it seems so lacking in the software. The basic options don't work. Should I return it for a replacement?

When using camera or also playing video the phone gets so hot that i cannot even hold it in my hand anymore + draining battery like crazy (Snapdragon Version). No software update from Samsung. Last update was on 1st of June (in Thailand)... After I had the pink line issue with my S7 edge I said I would never buy a Samsung phone anymore. What a big mistake to give them another chance!

Note 20 ultra is better for me. Its bigger and lighter. The bigger rectangular tv like disply is far better than that s21 display. Ppl act like you can't view the 2k display on the note. The 120htz is only fora smooth feel when scrolling. Which the note still has. Just better as it has sdcard and Bluetooth spen already built in.

its got a warning message that it only supports 60hz in QHD mode for 120hz is only in 1080p mode.
