Don’t worry about the ‘Stache. The harder you work at something, the luckier you get, and that is something you can control. Great videos and content - thanks !

You made a catch! Many a times I've come home over the years wishing I had caught something. Looks like you have some critters in the area so it'll happen.

we called those a weasel here in Alberta , Have you tried putting up a log at an angel for the wolverines to walk up to your pails up the tree ? it may help. beautiful countryy you are fortunate to be able to fly and do your trapping so much more fun

Nice video - gorgeous country. I'm not a trapper but spend a lot of time at a dozen trapping sites - I see some of the more prolific trappers really spend time on their lures - just wondering if maybe changing that up might help. Hope you can get a lynx - that would be awesome!
@isaaclandecker9073 жыл бұрын
Appreciate it! I actually just tried a new lure on 2 of the sites. Hopefully that will work. It seems the animals are making it to the site so I believe the lure is working. We'll see though!

How about putting a good sized running pole just below your bucket that are set for Wolerine? Make it easier for them to reach the bait.

I actually have 3 sets out that are at the top of downed trees. So I'm going to test that out and see if it helps!

Great channel, How many sets are you putting at each landing site? It might be worth it to set 3 or 4 at each spot. Different sets different lures etc. Looks like you got it nailed tho. I am looking forward to the next ones.
@isaaclandecker9073 жыл бұрын
I have put up to 2 at each landing site. I've actually thought about adding more, but it just takes awhile to get them set up. Next year I may try to expand it a bit to have multiple sets.

Saw the ne bait in the plane it was sauges , what did it catch ? All so how meany times do you youse carb heat in the plane ?
@isaaclandecker9073 жыл бұрын
3 more marten is what bait caught! Hopefully I'll get another one soon though. I rarely use carb heat. I check it on my preflight but that generally is all. Most days I fly the weather is very nice.
