Using S22+ (8/128 Green) for the past 6 months, got it from Flipkart for 50K. I don't see any issues with SD Gen 1, it does heat during initial days and once battery is optimized based on usage, I did not see any heating issues. Am a moderate user, battery lasts easily for a day, I dont play games so cannot comment on that. Camera is great, especially the Telephoto lens. my wife have iPhone 13 and I feel the dynamic range is a bit inferior to iPhone 13. Everything else is good, very happy with the purchase.

It gets warm but not that much . If your using in outside during a sunny day it will heat also during gaming. ...so if your ok with battery then you can choose 22plus

While playing games and not playing games both scenario getting heat. Except that heating and battery all are good (remaining is camera only). Using in 60 hz instead of 120hz due to more heating.
