In EU the s24 ultra 512Gb costs 1500. That's too much so I chose the still expensive One Plus 12 for around 1000. So far I cannot complain.

Oneplus 12 is a great phone, which I have seen. I was thinking of getting it. But opted out for the s24ultra violet titanium, 256gb.

Im torn between oneplus 12 and nubia z60 ultra, which one in ur opinion have better cameras? Ive been using poco f2 pro up to this day and i dont care about front camera and it will be hard to go from full screen with no notches of poco to hole punch.

I've used both. The OP12 is better IMHO. The Z60 Ultra oversharpens the back cam pics, the selfie cam is not good but that's a given. The UI of Nubia is just awesome, though. Also the battery life of Z60U is legendary. The OP12 is great, too. The OP12 is well rounded and thus, recommended by me over the Z60U.

Can't say that I'm impressed with the s24 ultra after upgrading from the 20 ultra. I also have the open as my main device. I can't put this one down but in a week or so I'm going to switch to the 24U and solidify my opinion.

If you can access an employee program that has Samsung part of it, the S24 ultra 512gb in blue is £1146 right now, cheaper then the 256gb model.

I have the Honor Magic 6 Pro - and I have to agree, the Camera is okay but not great, but I do not regret buying it. It's a beautiful phone Display is nice and battery life is Amazing. And I have to say the software is better than I thought. (I had to chose between OP 12 and the Honor) 🙂 Good video 👍

Think Oppo makes better cameras and I enjoyed Flossy Carter's Oppo X7 review about the cameras. Keep up the great work.

I have a samsung s24 ultra and it is one of the worst flagships at the moment. The screen does not support dolby vision, vibration motor is very, very weak, the corners of the phone are very bulging, the cameras are very old, especially the 3x zoom and ultrawide angle, slow charging, One UI has very bad animation, the system has already hung 2 times. Chinese flagships are head and shoulders above this Korean one in all aspects including the kit

I have the S24U and I love that phone! I would definitely place it at number one. And that's not just because I'm a Samsung fanboy! I think for most people it's hard to argue that the OnePlus 12 isn't a better for value phone. But I'm typing this on my OnePlus Open and as much as I like it, for me it definitely falls short in terms of software. I want very much to get the OPPO X 7 Ultra but I'm not prepared to spend that much money on a phone unless I know that I'm getting a software skin that gives me everything Samsung does. So even though I know it's cameras are amazing and it looks beautiful, I too would put it below the S24U. Probably below the OnePlus 12 just because the OnePlus 12 is cheaper and easier to get. I have no idea about the Nubia but the thing about the Nubia is that, from the way it looks, it has the one thing that I don't love about my S24U, and that's the sharp boxy design. And without even having a stylus. But I've never held one so I don't know, maybe it feels better than the S24U 🤷 So finally the Honor Magic 6 pro would be last for me as well. It looks amazing but it's expensive, hard to get, and not as good as they claimed it was. And I'm sure it's fine even if it's not on the same level as the S24U, X7 Ultra, Vivo X100 pro, or Xiaomi 14 ultra, and that would be fine if they hadn't claimed it was better than all of those. And given the specs on paper it does look like it should be. In fact I'd probably love it since Huawei has come the closest to creating a software experience that I would be willing to use instead of OneUI

Samsung S24 ultra is behind Honor Magic 6 pro in every department just as S23 Ultra was behind Honor Magic 5 pro. Facts. I know the bias is big from the samsung fans, but they should try reality. Huawei was always on step ahead. Screen, battery, photos (point and shoot, faster shutter, quicker transitions), also has desktop mode, IR blaster integrated with the remote app, AI space to keep your devices together, better multitasking on device and tablet/laptop, better selfie camera (wider field of view), LOG/LUT for editing your videos and the SEARCH SCOPE which is the best feature ever on a smartphone.

I guess the let is about right. I'm more partial to the Nubia Z60 Ultra. Think it had best value for money. And I'm not a selfie person and hate camera cutouts and notches. I'd much prefer the bezel setup or the Sony lineup too.

You said the only area Samsung needs to improve upon is the price. I respectfully disagree. For that pricepoint, their batteries charge way too slowly. The OnePlus 12 charges faster wirelessly than the S24 Ultra does wired. That's unacceptable for a phone so expensive. Excellent reviews as always though. Do you think the X7 will get a global release later this year?

Anyway, here's my top 5. 5. Honor 4. Nubia 3. OnePlus 2. Oppo 1. S24 Ultra. I know I spoke about the charging but even so, it's still the best phone out there. If the Oppo had a global ROM then that would've been #1 for me.

you're spot on, it'd be naive to think that Samsung can't make a faster charger, Samsung is holding back until there's nothing new to brag about then 85w charging will become a selling point, Samsung could've made a flat display for S23 Ultra but they have to release it in S24 Ultra, both literally the same phone, but i still love it🥲

Why no x100 Pro? I've used S24U, X7U, Xiaomi14U, OP12 and the X100Pro. I'd get the X100 Pro, hands down 12 out of 10 times. And it's not just because of the cameras. It is an all-round dropdead best phone of 2024.

I as a Samsung Knight , I have massive respect for Xiaomi, One Plus , Huawei AND Honor Magic they all give it 110 % and put everything in the box. For me I still have the s23 ultra but the s24 ultra is my favorite because of that new dark non reflective glass it's genius

Currently using the S24U Hong Kong variant. The bloatware from Hong Kong is removable, and it works as a global version. My only concerns are the consistency of the camera indoors and the slightly reduced bass compared to my iPhone 15 Plus.

Erm..I have bought and returned 2 OnePlus 12 phones. Excellent phone but I returned both due to a significant and noticeable amount of residual glue where the camera module joined the body of the phone. Other than QC issue, great handset.

Im enjoying my S24 ultra (other phones are s23 ultra, fold 5 , pixel 7 pro) but I think the X7 ultra and maybe even the x100 pro would be right there with it in alot of categories. Hope oppo does a global release of the x7!

This comparison is useless. You should not consider the marketing bullshit in the rating which is later used for such comparison. The phone itself is not worse only because it was badly advertised. Overally Honor Magic 6 pro has better cameras than OP 12, but you underrated it and biased the final outcome of the ranking. Moreover, Samsung S24U only minus is the price? Really? Charging? No pure black colors due to new anitglare glass? Slow shutter? Try to be more objective...
