Sweet! Not sure if you recorded the whole process but would love to see some behind the scenes/making of clips on this. Sounds amazing. All samples or was there some midi sequencing (can't remember if that is available yet or was just a fever dream I had)?

Thanks! There was some external MIDI sequencing- I used Ableton, Reason, and my Integra 7 for the end synth notes, manually beat matched it to the S2400, and sampled in using the live looper. I also have been using Ableton as a pre-processor for time-stretch- it’s just SO much easier to drop your sample in at any given BPM and then record it into the S2400. With this workflow the S2400 really doesn’t even need time-stretch (although it would be nice). Sadly I did not record the process of making this one however once I have a bit more experience under my belt on it, I’ll be making a tutorial on how to make full songs, workflow w/ a DAW, etc. Lots more to come. This was just to showcase the extent to which I’ve been able to push the machine so far :) Glad you enjoyed if! 🙌🏼🤘🏼

@@ScottBrio Yeah One thing I'm kind of hoping for is time stretch for the artifacts if indeed it can ballpark that 950/1000 time stretch sound. Otherwise I agree it's easiest to put it into ableton and drop it in at the bpm you want.

@@Iofflight That would be awesome- I'll be interested to see if they do add time-stretch. Until then, there's actually a program called Akaizer that lets you time-stretch samples and add that same dope artifacting to your samples. Check it out: the-akaizer-project.blogspot.com/

@@ScottBrio Thanks Scott I've heard of it I just have never used it. I'll get it downloaded tonight. I've really moved away from software in the last decade. (Ironically just as it was getting to be stellar)

@@Iofflight Ha well, I've moved more into the hybrid world myself. Mostly because hardware is expensive and takes so long to afford lol. As much as I love and rely on software, I gotta have hardware to bounce ideas off of. They're both stellar right now!

Not painted- I made custom piano-black acrylic plastic sides :)
