The Kennedys Episode 20
Marilyn Monroe Part 3
"Marilyn told her she was going to marry Bobby Kennedy"
“JFK. That's what was wrong. She had just been jilted by the president of the United States. Do you really think after all that she'd been through with movie making she was going to try to kill herself because a director hadn't shown up for a day's work at the studio? It was Kennedy. That's why. Kennedy.”
New research fills in the gaps, clears away all the smudgy bits, and the smoke… it brings reality into focus. It lines up with who each person was- these personalities we’ve all spent no less than a year getting to know together… You’ll be able to see exactly where every rumor came from, and why the story has been this convoluted for all these years… and why, at this point, Norma Jeane wanted nothing more than to kill Marilyn Monroe...
This is Part 3/6 of Marilyn Monroe's Story

@@deboraholsen2504not only did people/ women wear denim jackets in 1960s , they were invented in 1880. A quick google search of denim fashions in 1960s will show you photos. There’s even a photo of Marilyn in a denim jacket on set of The Misfits.

Someone Saw Bobby In Los Angeles The Night Marilyn Monroe Was Found Dead
@finnsmom8470
@finnsmom8470 2 ай бұрын
@@LorenEppersonCorrect and actually there was more than just one person whom saw him there including a LA cop whom pulled Peter Lawford over, whom was driving Bobby from LAX, as well as Marylin’s neighbours, etc. I’ve read a number of books that talk about Bobby in LA the night Marylin turned up dead……with so much Nembutal in her that there’s no way she could have swallowed that much, as they would have found pills in her stomach that had not been digested, suggesting that the pills were inserted, suppository-style. They also found no pill bottles on her nightstand, nor a glass of water with which to down the pills…..it is all a very sordid situation, which Bobby got away with, for his big bro, Jack. It’s amazing that JFK could do so much screwing around, given his Addison’s disease and herniated discs, but he had enough that he brought more than one STD home to Jackie, whom threatened to leave Jack when she went to see Joe, to have him pay her multimillion$ to stay with his so-so, unfaithful Catholic son. SMH. Joe pretty much taught all of his sons to be unfaithful, like he was with their mother Rose, whom spent as much time as should could, away in Europe, shopping and galavanting around with her friends. It was all the Kennedy’s bootleg booze and insider-trading money that paid for all the son’s wives to stay with this family of whoremongers; both father and sons. And hey, Bobby having a part in collecting Marylin’s diary, before they killed her was kind of a prelude to Edward leaving Mary Jo Kopechne to drown…….Rose left the mothering of all her kids to child caregivers, hence why she wasn’t home when Joe took Rosemary to have a lobotomy, because he was afraid of her becoming as sexually active as her brothers, given that she was the most attractive daughter….check out video of her with her family in England when Kennedy was the ambassador there and let’s not forget about poor Kick, whom was disowned by her mother for falling in love with a Protestant instead of a Catholic. Hence, she never saw Kick again, like Joe Jr., whom did go to his sister’s wedding and was there for support. After Kick’s husband was killed in the war, Kick took up with another married man and died in a plane crash in 1948 when they were flying to the French climes at the Mediterranean. What a family, SMH.

This was perhaps not due to some huge affair, but because she threatened to go public is why she so quickly, after the threat, died. She was mentally & physically better, as witnessed by the studio and her leading man, Dean Martin. He saw such a great improvement, that he refused to continue with the film unless the studio hired her back. The talks began and Marilyn was booking herself for future meetings in the hopes of continuing the film, letting go of "going public". Perhaps she should have let more people know, because she was taken out needlessly. It would have been very easy for anyone with power to "make her worse" medically, let it be filmed for all to see, and then no one would be surprised if she died of "taking too many pills".

Jackie felt a lot pain from his cheating. She almost left a couple times. It wasn’t just something that didn’t bother her. Also she purposely didn’t go to the birthday thing because sure she knew about Marilyn singing. Jackie made JFK promise to never talk to MM again. He didn’t.

@ Yes..That book blames men for everything and all of the women are poor little victims. The author is almost dishonest in her portrayals by withholding anything positive at all about the Kennedys and painted every problem the wives had on the husband. Maureen Callahan had a narrative.

She Overdosed she knew she took too much. I think desperately they tried to save her? Especially her psychiatrist and he was scared for prescribing her all those meds and probably other doctors gave her shit? Maybe he thought he would be blamed? I use to think she was murdered? Now I think she killed herself because she's tried before and people walked in on her and checked her? Peter Lawford made a call she would of lived but not this time? Wow she was seriously depressed over a marry man?? No one rescued her this time it was too late? It was her fate? I'm convinced now. She Overdosed. People just couldn't except that this beautiful rags to riches abandoned vulnerable played her best role of taking all those pills and died? Why would the mafia kill her?? Rest in peace my beautiful Norma Jean ❤😢❤❤

Monroe was self-destructive. I think that she was noive in that she relied on her looks and power of seduction too heavily; these made her think that she could snatch one of the Kennedy brothers from their respective wives. How many emotionally immature women have done the same only to fall flat on their faces. Whereas that can and has worked before, it's really rare that it does, and specially when the guys are young and considered great catches. In this case we're talking about the two males who were probably considered the two greatest catches of their generation. They didn't have to leave their wives for any other woman, because they could already have any other woman as it was. Jack could have both, the last guy in the world to ever feel like he had to choose would have been him. Yes she was Marilyn, but these were the Kennedys, their political ambitions came before anything, and required an apparently squeaky clean sheet, free of scandals or drama. Also even tho Jack was a serial cheater, being raised by staunch Catholics, he was also indoctrinated to marry for life. He would have never divorced Jackie. If anything Jackie would have eventually (and only much later, long after the presidency) divorced him, but not the other way around. There were many things that Monroe was noive about in all this. She had great light but also had these shadows of immaturity, and then the obvious trauma as well. Regardless of what happened to her on the night se died, both of these things were a recipe for self-destruction.

Wow, you ladies filled in a lot of holes in the MM saga for me. With a lot of truth and compassion. Especially her stay at The Cal-Neva. As with FS, she would cross the line with people, and they would most likely reduce their time with her. But she was lucky PKL chose to stick around. Btw, Ralph Roberts was MM's masseur. Comments are welcome.

@@bloodandbusiness Yes, she is so inspiring. So there was no party with Giancana at Cal-Neva, then?? Also JFK was sarcastic toward MM at MSG when he said her performance was "sweet and wholesome." I think they were discrediting her to discredit the rumors she was spreading because she was not all right at that time. Too bad MM did not share her demons with Pat and make them much smaller. With all due respect, MM's doctors were not helping her a lot. Experts say she had BPD, and not much was known abt it at the time. Rather than diminish her demons, she was just treating the symptoms with her medications. Sharing with Bobby may have helped, too. Dr. Greenson commented in his notes that at that time four powerful men were not treating her very well. I now get that two of them were probably JFK and RFK. Thanks for the insight.

@@bloodandbusiness I feel JKS's letter is sarcastic. I feel that if MM had showed up to The Kennedy Compound along with RFK, the Kennedys would have laughed at her. Thanks, I got this from your analysis. I think she took RFK's compassion too seriously. She thought the dinner party was a date with RFK?? Ethel would not mind for her husband to have a date with her right there?? When RFK had to tell MM no more interaction with JFK, she must have gotten very upset, and he allowed her to call him for consolation, I guess. Thanks, I think I am getting it now. Comments are welcome.
