God, what a perfect first episode to watch! I remember seeing ads for this before it came out (huge TMBG fan), and I'm glad to finally watched, because it was pure magic. It has that perfect raw "analog" energy from the '90s, but you can tell younger kids like it too. I'm an instant fan!

Aaah prom ! Another weird American thing that doesn't make any sense and puts social pressure and overall unnecessary anxiety on you. It's so hyped up so when you finally show up it turns out it's really not that big of a deal, yet if you decide not to show up at all it will feel like you missed a one in a life time event, it's designed so that you fuckin have to go. That way the school is guaranteed to make a big fuckin profit regardless..
